Story
Oogie is a lot of things - all good we might add - and definitely a conversation starter. With his boxy face and pointy ears he is not easily identifiable as a specific breed, and everybody he encounters asks, "What exactly is he?" We can only guess as far as breed, but what he is definitely is a sweet lovable, easy-going and great all around guy. So whether you are in need of a walking/jogging partner, somebody to cuddle with, or somebody who will help you make new friends, Oogie is your man! Come meet him! He is definitely worth it! Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
Meet Serena! She’s a 1-year-old female Shiba Inu weighing 32 lbs who arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/15 as a stray. With her gorgeous red sesame coat and irresistible smile, she’s a real charmer. Serena loves exploring every corner of the play yard, sniffing around before getting the zoomies and running with joy. She doesn’t seem to know any commands yet and didn’t pick a favorite toy, but that could change outside the shelter. A total lovebug, she enjoys face rubs and leans in for plenty of pets. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and confidently passes barking dogs without showing interest. If there’s another dog at home, the shelter recommends a dog test. She deserves to have a loving family she can call her own. A secured yard to play in, yet live indoors, cuddling close with her loved ones.

Story
Haku is a male dog born on May 3, 2025. I adopted him as a puppy, and he’s grown into a very affectionate and social companion. He has a playful personality and loves spending time with people and other dogs. Haku gets excited when meeting new dogs, but always stays friendly and enjoys playing with them. He’s also smart and eager to learn — with consistent training, he picks up new commands very quickly. I’m looking for a loving, active home where Haku can continue to get daily interaction, playtime, and care. If I were to describe him in a few words: friendly, curious, playful, smart, and loving.
