Shago

Shiba Inu

Male, Young
Spokane Valley, WA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Shago is a very well behaved shiba but unfortunately likes to be left alone and can be reactive if you try to engage with him and will bite if handled when he is not in the mood. Behavioral training isnt helping and he progressively is getting more and more isolated and angry. I feel it would be best if we found him a new home without other animals where he can have plenty of space. He doesnt do well with other animals and will bite if one gets too close to him. He would be an excellent show or working dog. He is bred to flush out birds and other game and does that extremely well. Were looking for an experienced owner who has the patience and know-how to deal with rescue animals. Miko could be an amazing pet for someone who doesnt need a cuddly dog.

Story
Meet Bear, an active, happy girl who loves exploring the world and carrying her favorite toys or treasures around in her mouth. She’s full of personality, enjoys her walks, and is always ready for a bit of fun. Bear is smart, curious, and would respond wonderfully to continued training—she’s the type who will thrive with structure, exercise, and someone who loves an upbeat companion. She’s been with us since being transferred in from Texas on 10/22, and she’s still waiting for her first adopter to discover how great she is. We have no history on kids or cats, so slow introductions and thoughtful supervision are recommended. If you’re looking for a lively, lovable dog who’s ready to be your adventure buddy, come meet Bear—she’s more than ready for her new beginning.
