Est. DOB: 06/25/2025 Current Weight: 38lbs Adoption fee: $275 Meet Jolene! This beautiful girl is only 10 months old but has already had a rough start in life. After being abandoned on the streets, she wandered alone for three weeks before a kind person brought her to safety. Now, Jolene is ready for a fresh start with a loving family who can give her the life she truly deserves. She may be a little nervous at first, but once she warms up, she’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of energy. Jolene would love nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the couch after a long day or join you on walks, hikes, and adventures. She’s the perfect mix of sweet and active! Could you be the one to give Jolene her happily ever after? (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Story
**Sudder is not currently in the direct care of HTHH. His owner needs to rehome him due to his owner's own health issues and we are assisting them with that. If you are interested in Sudder, please fill out an application here: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform ** Sudder is an 11-year-old Shiba Inu mix with a look you won’t forget—one ear up, one ear down, a wagging tail, and soulful eyes that lock right onto yours. He’s affectionate, playful, and happiest with life’s simple joys: cuddles on the sofa, gentle scratches, and slow walks where he can take his time sniffing flowers, bushes, and every cedar tree along the way. Sudder spent 9 years with his original family and the last 2 with a loving elderly couple who adopted him through Happy Tails Happy Homes. Like many Shibas, he bonds closely with one “favorite” person, but he warms up to others who offer patience, treats, and affection. He’s adapted well from farm life to a busy, multi-pet community and is now comfortable with everyday activity. He’s even made friends with many dogs and cats, though he may still bark when he wants to say hello but can’t. Sudder would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as leash walking can be frustrating for him. He can be reactive to some dogs on walks (barking/pulling), so an experienced dog owner is ideal. He recently had CCL surgery (similar to an ACL tear) and is recovering well, but needs limited activity through August. He may also need help getting in and out of a car. He weighs 31 lbs. Despite everything, Sudder still has playful bursts of energy and an adorable habit of chewing and stuffing his soft bed when he’s self-soothing. He does not have a strong prey drive or the typical “Shiba scream,” tolerates grooming well, and sheds seasonally. His family is heartbroken to rehome him due to health limitations and hopes to find a loving home where he’ll be deeply cared for and understood. Sudder isn’t perfect—but he’s funny, loyal, and full of personality, and he’s looking for someone patient with a good sense of humor to love him back.

Story
Hi… I’m Mitsu 🤍 I’ve been through a moment where everything could have ended. But somehow, I’m still here. And now, I’m waiting… not for just anyone, but for my person. My family. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I truly, deeply love people. Even if we’ve just met, I’ll come up to you with my tail wagging, looking into your eyes, hoping you’ll look back at me. I love that connection—the quiet moment where we understand each other without words. Being with you makes me happy. Getting attention, feeling loved… I know those feelings well, and I want to share them with you every day. With other dogs, I’m still learning. I didn’t have many good chances to make friends before, so sometimes I can feel unsure and react a little defensively at first. But if you give me space, let me take my time… I start to soften. I’ll get curious. I’ll follow along. And before you know it, my tail will be wagging beside a new friend. I’m working hard on this right now, learning how to feel more comfortable and confident. I’m getting better every day. Still, in a brand-new environment, I might need your guidance. Because of that, I think I would feel safest as your one and only dog—your whole heart, and you’ll have all of mine. I’m smart, too. I learn quickly, especially when I’m looking into your eyes. I want to understand you. I want to be the best companion I can be. Honestly… aside from a few things I’m still learning, people often say I’m almost perfect. But what I really am, is a dog with a big heart— a heart that has been waiting to belong to someone. If you give me patience, guidance, and love, I will give you something just as big in return. No more waiting. No more uncertainty. Just you and me, together. Will you be my forever family? 🤍

Story
Hi… I’m Norang 🤍 I was found wandering in the mountains, after losing my mom. I wasn’t alone back then—I had my siblings with me. But one by one, they found their families and left for their new homes. Now… it’s just me. And I’m still here, waiting. Hoping my turn will come. I’m a bright and friendly boy. I like people, and I get along well with other dogs too. At first, I might feel a little shy… but if you give me just a little time, I’ll come closer with a wagging tail and a curious heart. Because I really do love being near you. I’m still just a puppy—only 1 years old. So I’m full of energy, curiosity, and a little bit of mischief too 😊 I love toys. I love running and playing. And every day, I’m learning something new about the world. There are still many things I don’t know yet. Living in a home, potty training, understanding what I can and can’t do… I’ll need you to teach me all of that, step by step. Sometimes I might chew on things, or make little mistakes. But I’m not trying to be bad—I’m just growing, learning, becoming who I’m meant to be. Right now, I’m not a “perfect” dog. I’m a dog in the middle of becoming. And that means something special— because you get to be part of who I grow into. With your love, your guidance, and your patience, I can become the best companion you could ever ask for. Even after losing my family, I still trust people. I still believe in love. Now I just need someone who won’t leave— someone who will stay, teach me, and grow with me. I don’t want to be alone anymore. I want a home. I want you. Will you be my forever family? 🤍

Story
Titan is a wonderfully easygoing, gentle boy who takes life at a calm, steady pace. He’s a slow, relaxed walker who truly appreciates unhurried moments and kind, thoughtful interactions. Whether it’s a stroll or a quiet petting session, Titan is all about enjoying the simple things—especially treats and affection from his people. In playgroup, Titan really shines. Once he warms up, he opens right up and joins in the fun—romping with the playful dogs, tolerating the more mouthy pups with ease, and also getting along well with the calmer, gentler littles. He’s adaptable, social, and truly enjoys being part of the group no matter the energy level. Above all, Titan is a very sweet boy who loves people and happily soaks up attention and pets. He’s the kind of dog who brings a calm, steady presence wherever he goes. Titan cannot live with cats, but he has so much love to give to the right home. If you’re looking for a mellow, friendly companion who enjoys both social time and quiet moments, Titan might be your perfect match 💙
