George is a 6 yo shih tzu that was completely broken when he came to us, he now loves his squeaky toys and will squeak over and over. He is very scared of toddlers or anyone new for that matter, but we hope that will subside as he continues to gain confidence. GEORGE REQUIRES A SECURELY FENCED YARD AND ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME. We carry him outside to potty and he will come back in on his own. He will follow you around the house and wait outside the bathroom door for you, once you are his person. He currently sleeps in the doggie bed beside the human bed. He does follow the other dogs around and is learning to play. It has been so amazing to watch him come out of his shell with us, but now it's time to find him his furever home. He was groomed at My Dirty Dog in Morton and they loved him there. Would you like to make George part of your family? George is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, has had a recent dental, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Story
Shadow is a 14 year old 10-lb poodle (we think that makes him a toy poodle, not a miniature poodle) who has had a series of heartbreaks. His first mom, who loved him very much, died of cancer. His second mom also got cancer and was unable to take care of him, so he got severely matted and emaciated. It's now time to find his a loving home that will take care of him even if his time on earth isn't more than a few years. Could that be you? He is starting to show his playful side and loves to cuddle up on your lap. He will bark when he wants to go outside and seems to love car rides. We do know that he's stone deaf, but sees enough and his sniffer definitely works. He loves any and all treats, and even if his dental left him with few remaining teeth, he will find a way to eat them. The $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, dental, sedated groom, vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration.
