Story
Meet Forrest he is looking for a very special and patient home. He is a 3 year old breeder release mini poodle about 9#. He is very scared and will need a home that is willing to put in the time working with him to bring him out of his shell. Right now he has a playpen that he “lives” in. The door is always open, but he prefers to stay in it, usually curled up in his bed. He has started exploring out about 3 feet and then runs back to his safe place when he sees someone watching. He does know when it is supper time and as soon as he sees his foster mom fixing it he will stand and do a little dance waving his paws. He doesn’t care about the other dogs one way or another. He is not potty trained, or leash trained. Please only apply if you are serious about putting the work in with him as he deserves a permanent amazing home. Forrest's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Story
Theodore (aka Teddy) is a sweet 12 year old Shih tzu that weighs 16 lbs. The poor boy had a owner for 10 years until she had to go into a nursing home then he moved to another apartment in the same building for 2 years until that new mom got sick and could no longer take care of him. We didn't know if he would be happy in a foster home because of all the dogs there but he fits right in and has been amazing. He has found his spot to sleep in his dog bed and seems to love the hectic household. It took him a couple weeks to want to jump up and sit in the lounge chair but that's his favorite place to be. Teddy has been recently diagnosed with small kidney stones so he has been put on a special dry dog food diet. The vet seems to think the new diet will clear up his stones. You would never know that Teddy is 12. He gets the zoomies and just runs around the house. Teddy would love to have a final home where he can be loved on and treated like the special boy that he is.
