Looks like: Lhasa Apso mix Female, 11 years old (estimated), 16 pounds Sweet Miss Maggie knows quite well that first impressions count, so upon meeting this little charmer, she will dazzle with her soulful eyes, delight with her sparkling personality, and enchant with her super friendly demeanor. Maggie loves to snuggle, give kisses, and follow her humans around. Lucky for her that she has a super soft coat, which makes it nearly impossible to take your hands off of her! This spry Lady is an excellent companion on walks and she gets very excited whenever she thinks it is time to go for a loop or for a ride in the car. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing or running around with other pups. When left home alone, she is well behaved and takes a quiet nap in the meantime. In her forever home, Maggie would appreciate frequent walks to exercise body and mind, lots of play with similar-sized dogs, and most importantly oodles of love and attention from her humans. We don't know yet how she is with children, but she previously lived with a dog-savvy cat. At her foster home, she sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. Overall, Maggie is in excellent shape, but she does have a slight wobble in her back legs. Maggie joined us from Santa Cruz County Animal Services.

Meet Fitch! This sweet Shih Tzu Poodle mix came to the Shelter with his littermate after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for them. Fitch previously lived in a home with children under 12 years old, men and women. A home with children is likely a fit in the next home provided they meet at the Shelter prior to adoption. Fitch was crated when left alone. Fitch’s favorite activity in his previous home was running and playing. Fitch lived with four other dogs in his previous home and enjoyed playing with them. A home with another dog may be a fit. Any resident dogs should meet at the Shelter prior to adoption. Fitch has also lived with cats in his previous home. A home with dog-savvy cats, paired with a slow, thoughtful introduction is recommended. Fitch also rides nicely in the car and is ready to pack up and join you on your next adventure!
