Story
Mama Fia is a Shih-Tzu mix pulled from Stanislaus shelter who was very pregnant and needed an eye removal. Her "fab 5" we called them are all very social and have great silly personalities. They're used to being around dogs of all sizes, know the word "treat time" and are learning to potty on paper inside or go outside to run and potty. They are around 3 1/2 months old now, 3 shots, fixed wormed and chipped. Would be amazing family dogs. Lots of energy in this group.  ****PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO CHECK STATUS OF A DOG...PHONE CALLS ARE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS ON ADOPTION AS WE DO NOT GET BACK TO PHONE CALLS ABOUT ADOPTION. Shots up to date (DHPP), wormed, micro chipped, altered (spayed/neutered).   Adoption cost for this dog is $400 We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered  in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Our adoption process REQUIRES that an application must first be submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our pets. Just note that we may get several responses on one pet at a time so just because you have an approved application does not mean said pet is on hold for you. One must FIRST confirm an appointment to meet the pet after an approved application has been sent. To inquire about this specific pet, please write to info@pupznpalz.org for an application. Please remember to put the pets name in the subject line when emailing, and on the top on the application. It helps us to help you that must faster. We are a group of volunteers, and ask that you please bare with us. We will get to each person just as quickly as we can. If you do not hear back from us within 24 hours, please send another request as we have been having problems with e-mail. email: info@pupznpalz.org and ask for an application for which dog you are interested in phone: 209-480-8662 (9-6 pm only please, cell phone, emergencies only please...do not call to ask status of dog, email please) **ADOPTION EVENTS: to be announced **OUR FACILITY: Located at 1430 Carpenter Lane Suite B (by appointment only as we do not have set hours)     June 13, 2024, 11:03 am

Story
Sonny is a handsome guy that will melt your heart! He is a 1-year-old, 8-pound, cream and white colored, Shih Tzu / Chihuahua mix ? Sonny was a stray at the Lodi City shelter when we pulled him, He has an adorable curled tail. Sunny will need a person who works from home and is with him most of the time. He is a great size to go everywhere you do! He is friendly but slightly shy. Sonny may need some leash training and house training. He is getting used to the routine of going outside with the command “go potty”. He keeps his kennel clean at night. He is a sweet, loving and playful boy. Sonny is scheduled to be neutered but we are looking for his home now. He is microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Are you ready for some fun-loving company? Sonny is the guy to bring love and joy into your home! We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Story
This little guy would love to be the new love in your life? Meet Rascal. He is a 3 ½ -month-old, 8 pound, white and apricot beauty with dark brown eyes and is a Shih Tzu Mix. We do not think he is hypoallergenic. He was surrendered with his brother Yogi and mother Lucy (both available for adoption) because their family had to many dogs. He is such a sweetheart and wants to be your companion , he seems to do better with women. He will expect to sit on the couch with you and sleep snuggled in your bed. Rascal is on the shy side and will needs lots of love, he will need a playful canine companion to play with and to show him the ropes. He will need to be professionally groomed every 4 – 6 weeks to stay mat free. He is a puppy and will require leash training when he is old enough to be outside safely. He will require housetraining too. Here at the sanctuary, we use the command "Go Potty" before we go outside for potty breaks. Rascal follows right along. This is a good practice to promote good habits. He is scheduled to be neutered, he is microchipped and current on vaccinations. This sweet boy is waiting for you!
