Miss Luna came to us with some skin allergies but they are mostly under control now with a daily pill. 🤩She is the SWEETEST girl and loves everyone she meets. *almost six years old, 14 pounds *sassy shih-tzu/bichon mix *loving and snuggly❤️ * loves ALL people and kids *silly and loves to play fetch with a squeaky toy *expert squirrel chaser *will give you the business if you stop petting her *ok with dogs similar size; loves to run and bark at the fence with neighbor's Boston terrier puppy BUT does not want to play wildly with her *insists on sleeping with her person (has done this since a puppy) *house trained *enjoys car rides and going out in public * super entertained watching squirrels and birds on YouTube and barks happily at them 😂 ****will require some maintenance...allergic to dust mites and storage mites so home must be kept clean (not hospital clean lol but clean) *gets monthly shots for allergy management but may not need those at some point *gets daily pill to manage the itch *will require monthly grooming at a groomer She is a cutie patootie and will make a great companion for the right people! www.emeraldcoastpetrescue.com/adopt

Meet Michelle, aka Shelly Shelly is a 20-pound Shih Tzu mix, about 2 years old, who is looking for a very special adopter — someone patient, gentle, and understanding. Shelly is truly a wonderful little girl, full of love and affection. Once she feels safe and knows she won’t be hurt, she becomes your shadow and will happily smother you with kisses. The hardest part for her is the beginning — those first few days when she may be timid and unsure. With time, kindness, and consistency, she blossoms beautifully. She does well with other dogs and cats and is also good with older children. Shelly would thrive best in a quiet, calm home with someone willing to listen to what we’ve learned about her and apply that guidance as they build trust and a bond. Shelly is absolutely amazing, and the person who gives her the chance she deserves will gain a deeply loyal, loving companion for life. A few important things to know: We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Dogs must be picked up in person in Bonifay, FL. We do not ship or transport dogs. A secure, fenced yard is required unless otherwise stated. All dogs are spayed/neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and started on flea/heartworm prevention. ##2607511##

This happy guy loves everyone he meets and has a surprising amount of pep for his age. Spunky, upbeat, and full of personality, Benny still enjoys being active and involved in whatever’s going on around him.When Benny first came into rescue, his bloodwork showed signs of kidney disease. With good, basic care and consistency, his bloodwork is now completely normal, which has been amazing to see.Benny gets along great with other dogs, cats, and people — he’s one of those easygoing seniors who just fits right in.
