Meet Crouton! This scruffy lady is a happy, silly girl who is ready to start her new life. Crouton came to us with babies who she raised wonderfully. Crouton is a playful girl who has done well with other dogs her size, and while she seems to get along okay with dogs larger than her, she does seem a bit uncomfortable with them at times and would prefer a small companion. She is doing wonderful with potty training and is also crate trained. Crouton has a combination coat with coarse fur and also more soft hair, so she will need grooming regularly to keep from matting. We really aren’t sure exactly what she is mixed with, but think maybe some shih tzu and terrier of some kind? She is currently 15lbs and approximately 2 years old. Crouton is a pretty active girl, and may be too much for someone who is wanting only a lap companion. Crouton is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. If you took adorable and put it in a fluffy little 4-legged package, it would be Jinx! This guy came to Rescue as a result of mistreatment elsewhere. He had some dkin issues and wasn't neutered, but those things are all treated, and Jinx is well on his way yo being a very healthy guy. Jinx likes his food and treats snd responds well to training with a treat. He is protective of his belongings. He would be better in an adult home, He walks well on a leash and enjoys walks. He is fairly well house trained. He is vaccinated and microchipped, and scheduled for a neuter and dental cleaning. He seeks affection and wants to be your buddy. He qualifies for seniors for seniors, and please consider his grooming needs when applying.

Rob came from a hoarding house where he never learned the joys of human companionship. He has been in his current foster home for nearly 4 years and has no interest in EVER coexisting with humans. In fact, he's quite an asshole and barks non-stop at his foster mom every time she gets up from being seated and simply walks across the room. He is pretty much the most disliked dog that has ever existed. He is despised by large and small humans and at least half of the dogs that meet him also can't find it within themselves to like him.  HE DOES NOT PLAY. HE DOES NOT SNUGGLE. HE DOES NOT GO ON WALKS. HE DOES NOT COOPERATE WITH ANYTHING HUMANS WANT HIM TO DO. Rob is not completely housebroken but will accompany his doggie friends out to do his business. In all honesty, his only redeeming characteristic is how cute he is.  Rob's ideal home is one where he can be just one of many other other dogs and someone will feed him and take care of his other basic needs while requiring absolutely nothing in return. We are looking for a needle in a haystack and hoping for a miracle. Rob will need someone willing to foster to adopt to make sure his adopter can handle his idiocinracies so anyone looking to adopt him needs to be within a 2-hour drive of Cloverdale indiana. Rob cannot easily be leashed, so a home with a fenced in yard would be best. Rob needs an adopter that is up to the challenge of having a dog that may not ever like you. Are you the needle in the haystack we are looking for? Side Note: Rob was adopted for a brief period a year ago and did fairly well but the other dog in the home ultimately decided Rob was a complete jerk and that they could not be friends. Posted 6/30/2025 Please read the entire description before contacting us. Thank you so much! Ace was found as a stray near a vet office. No one claimed him and so one of the veterinarians decided to take him home. Unfortunately Ace is reactive with most members of the family and it was deceided that he would be better off in a household with no children. We don't know what happened to this pup. He is definitely fearful and standoffish with people he does not know. He does bite when you try to trim the hair in his face and snaps when he feels threatened. It is possible that he had a bad experiencey while he was groomed as he freaks out and bites when you try to put a muzzle on. Ace has to be fully sedated at a vet office to be groomed. We believe that with the right human who is patient and willing to work with him for a period of time, Ace's behavior can improve significantly. He most likely will have to always be sedated for grooming though. Ace is about 2 years old, vaccinated, neutered, tested for heartworm and he is on heartworm/flea prevention. He is sweet but fearful and needs to be approached carefully. He takes a while to warm up. He is house broken and very good in the car. He also walks well on a leasd. For Ace we are looking for people who understand his behavior and who are willing to work with him on losing his fear and become a happy dog. For Ace we are looking for need a calm and quiet home with a securely fenced in yard, no children at all. Ace generally gets along with other dogs if they are little.
