Hi there… my name is Gizmo, and I’m looking for a soft place to land. 💛 I’m an 8-year-old Shih Tzu mix, tiny enough to fit just about anywhere — I’m under 10 pounds! I can be a little shy and nervous when we first meet, but if you give me a little patience and kindness, I warm up and become a sweet little companion. I get along well with other dogs and would love a calm home where I can feel safe and loved. My hair was pretty matted when I was rescued, so right now I’m rocking a short haircut… but underneath it all I’m a beautiful ginger girl and my fluffy coat will grow back gorgeous in no time. I do have dry eye, so I’ll need eye drops to help keep me comfortable. I’m a simple girl otherwise — cozy beds, gentle people, and little walks sound perfect to me. NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!!   Born the end of February 2026, currently 0 weeks old.   Will need an owner who can take me for regular grooming sessions every 4-8 weeks.   Neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $160 Will need Puppy Booster DHLPP and Rabies Vaccine at age appropriate time.    If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her birth date is 07/17/25 and she currently weighs 9#. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $800 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need.
