He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His birth date is 05/23/24 and he currently weighs 10.2# full grown.He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm and tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $750 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Story
Shorty is a happy and friendly guy. He was surrendered to a local open intake animal control when his family was moving out of country and sadly couldn't bring him with. Shorty came very matted but has been nothing been sweet throughout all of the clean up and grooming required to get him feeling comfortable again. He does have some typical old man issues- arthritis and a cloudy eye, but overall he's in good health for a senior pup. He is dog friendly, kid friendly, and cats should be fine also. He does not get on furniture and enjoys a nice soft bed. His labs were great and he is scheduled to have his dental done on 12/23, and then he'll be ready to live out his golden years with a loving family.
