Meet Jax! (15lbs, Born Aug 2023) Jax is a playful, social bundle of energy who loves everyone—dogs and humans alike! This affectionate boy is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and puppy-pad trained. He’s a "foodie" who loves homemade meals and peanut butter treats. Jax’s Special Need: Jax is a happy, stable boy with idiopathic epilepsy. This is easily managed with a consistent medication routine every 8 and 12 hours. It costs only ~$30/mo! Because consistency is key to his health, he needs a dedicated, routine-oriented owner (perfect for someone who works from home or is retired). Why Jax? Jax doesn’t let his condition slow him down. He’s a brave, endearing companion who just needs a partner to help him stay on track. In return, he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty and world-class cuddles. Rob came from a hoarding house where he never learned the joys of human companionship. He has been in his current foster home for nearly 4 years and has no interest in EVER coexisting with humans. In fact, he's quite an asshole and barks non-stop at his foster mom every time she gets up from being seated and simply walks across the room. He is pretty much the most disliked dog that has ever existed. He is despised by large and small humans and at least half of the dogs that meet him also can't find it within themselves to like him.  HE DOES NOT PLAY. HE DOES NOT SNUGGLE. HE DOES NOT GO ON WALKS. HE DOES NOT COOPERATE WITH ANYTHING HUMANS WANT HIM TO DO. Rob is not completely housebroken but will accompany his doggie friends out to do his business. In all honesty, his only redeeming characteristic is how cute he is.  Rob's ideal home is one where he can be just one of many other other dogs and someone will feed him and take care of his other basic needs while requiring absolutely nothing in return. We are looking for a needle in a haystack and hoping for a miracle. Rob will need someone willing to foster to adopt to make sure his adopter can handle his idiocinracies so anyone looking to adopt him needs to be within a 2-hour drive of Cloverdale indiana. Rob cannot easily be leashed, so a home with a fenced in yard would be best. Rob needs an adopter that is up to the challenge of having a dog that may not ever like you. Side Note: Rob was adopted for a brief period a year ago and did fairly well but the other dog in the home ultimately decided Rob was a complete jerk and that they could not be friends. Posted 6/30/2025 Please read the entire description before contacting us. Thank you so much! Ace was found as a stray near a vet office. No one claimed him and so one of the veterinarians decided to take him home. Unfortunately Ace is reactive with most members of the family and it was deceided that he would be better off in a household with no children. We don't know what happened to this pup. He is definitely fearful and standoffish with people he does not know. He does bite when you try to trim the hair in his face and snaps when he feels threatened. It is possible that he had a bad experiencey while he was groomed as he freaks out and bites when you try to put a muzzle on. Ace has to be fully sedated at a vet office to be groomed. We believe that with the right human who is patient and willing to work with him for a period of time, Ace's behavior can improve significantly. He most likely will have to always be sedated for grooming though. Ace is about 2 years old, vaccinated, neutered, tested for heartworm and he is on heartworm/flea prevention. He is sweet but fearful and needs to be approached carefully. He takes a while to warm up. He is house broken and very good in the car. He also walks well on a leasd. For Ace we are looking for people who understand his behavior and who are willing to work with him on losing his fear and become a happy dog. For Ace we are looking for need a calm and quiet home with a securely fenced in yard, no children at all. Ace generally gets along with other dogs if they are little. It would be best though if he could be an only pet. If you are up to the challenge and interested in adopting Ace please fill out an adoption application on our web site.
