Story
Meet Oliver: Small Dog, Big Heart, and the Cutest Zoomies in Town Oliver is a 1 year old, 13 pound Shih Tzu who’s been busy learning all about life as a loved family dog and he’s doing a wonderful job. In his foster home, Oliver has discovered that couches are comfy, toys are meant to be celebrated, and people can be very, very kind. Oliver is house trained but is used to getting outside every few hours and having someone around most of the time. He loves to play, especially with toys and other dogs. Oliver would thrive in a home with a dog buddy his own size, someone to share zoomies, bounces, and joyful chaos with. Watching Oliver play is pure happiness. His zoomie sprints and happy hops are guaranteed mood-lifters. One of Oliver’s biggest accomplishments is learning to trust. He’s come to understand that gentle hands bring love, not fear, and it’s been beautiful to watch his confidence grow. His future family will need to be patient, kind, and generous with cuddles as he continues to blossom. A physically fenced yard is required for Oliver. Leashes are still scary for him, and leash walking will need to be introduced slowly and carefully, at his pace. For now, a safe yard lets him enjoy the outdoors without worry. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful little companion who is learning how wonderful life can be, Oliver is ready to keep growing with his forever family. Oliver is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. If you’d like to meet Oliver, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org. Oliver's adoption fee is $400.
