Rosie is a 9-year-old, 16-pound Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a soft heart and an even softer coat. She came into rescue with two other dogs after their beloved owner passed away from cancer. Despite the big change, Rosie has handled everything with grace and is now ready to find a forever family of her own. Rosie absolutely adores being close to her people. She’s an elite-level snuggler who loves curling up beside you for evening cuddles and belly rubs. But she also has a wonderfully independent side — she can be left alone without any worries and is an easy, low-maintenance companion. She enjoys short, leisurely walks and is excellent about taking care of her potty business while she’s out. Overnight she’s a dream, sleeping soundly straight through till morning. Rosie also likes to play with toys, especially when she’s feeling extra happy and settled. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, perfectly sized friend who wants to spend most of her time by your side, Rosie is ready to share her golden years — and all her cuddles — with you. Rosie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped. If you’d like to meet Rosie, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org. Questions?
