Rowdy is a 7.5-month-old Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix who has been raised in our home with 3 siblings. He is a deeply people-oriented, affectionate dog who forms strong bonds and truly loves being close to his person. Rowdy is calm, cooperative, and attentive in one-on-one settings and does beautifully with handling, grooming, and daily routines. Through time, training, and veterinary guidance, we learned that Rowdy thrives best as an only dog. In a quiet, single-dog home, he is relaxed, loving, and easy to live with. This rehoming decision is being made thoughtfully and with professional input to ensure Rowdy has the environment where he can fully succeed. Rowdy would do best with an adult household looking for a devoted companion; someone who enjoys a dog that wants to be near them, engage, and settle together.
