Shih Tzu puppies and dogs in Tillamook, Oregon

Oreo is 4 years old and weighs about 14lbs. He is so playful and loves his human immensely. He likes to hug with his arms! It is so cute. He crates well and rides well in the car. He is housetrained with a doggy door. Oreo is just a dear little guy who wants a quiet home, not too busy. No kiddos for Oreo. He gets scared too easily and little children would make him scared. He would love to be your little lap dog. Oreo has resource guarding issues so only an experienced pet owner or a home as an only pet would be appropriate. Oreo needs a home with a fully fenced yard and someone active enough to play with him and keep him exercised. Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com for an application.

Princess & Precious are an adorable pair of mother/daughter tiny Shih Tzu mixes. Precious the Mom is 10 and scruffy, and Princess the daughter is 9 and smooth-coated. They both have brown heart-shaped patches of fur on their sides. Both are quite friendly, snuggly and cuddly, and make excellent alarm clocks/burglar alarms. Both love to eat anything you give them. Both are friendly to other dogs, and people of all ages. No idea about their opinion of cats. They both sleep on my bed, either under the covers or wrapped up in a blanket on top. Both are potty trained. They came from an older person home that was moving to an assisted living facility and not able to take the dogs. Vet care was sadly lacking at their former home, and both dogs had to have several teeth removed. Princess (the smooth-coated daughter) has a dry left eye and will need drops for that for life. These are delightful cuties who want nothing more than to love and be loved forevermore. And of course well-fed. They are fully vetted, microchipped, spayed and dental done. Their adoption fee is $420 total for both dogs. To meet this little girls please go to our website - OFOSA.ORG and fill out the Dog Adoption Application and the foster mom will get back to you to meet them.

Laramie Claudette Snack Size Socialite has a very reasonable wish list: a few cute dresses, some good snackies, and someone who understands that an afternoon outing should be followed by a substantial nap. At a whopping nine pounds, she’s barely bigger than the contents of your purse—and considerably cuter. This little lady is ready to be dressed, adored, and told she’s the cutest thing in the whole wide world. Regularly, please. Go watch Laramie Claudette on YouTube to meet this tiny socialite and see her cuteness in motion. Copy and paste this link in your browser- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxl48zlJ2II Laramie is estimated to be eight years old, and she is fully embracing her senior lady life. She’s fostered in a loving home, where one of her most endearing qualities is how content she is. Happy to be with you, comfortable doing her own thing, and always prepared for a nap, she makes relaxing look like a skill worth putting on a résumé. She’s a great little car rider and settles comfortably in your arms when carried. A cute outfit and an outing with her favorite person are right up her alley. She has strong “let’s browse Marshalls” energy, followed by “we’ve done enough for today” energy. Both are equally charming! Her outdoor plans are just as lovely. Laramie enjoys a good roll in the grass, especially when the sun is shining. A little wiggle, a little stretch, a little sunshine on that tiny body—this girl knows how to enjoy herself without making a whole production of it. She lives happily with a variety of dogs and enjoys their companionship, though she’s quite content to leave the games to everyone else. Another easygoing dog would be welcome, but she could also happily be your one and only. What really fills her love tank is a person who will rub on her, kiss her little face, offer a snack, and help her choose her outfit for the day. Feline friends are welcome, too. Laramie lives with a cat and was very respectful when meeting our house cat. She seems to understand that when the cat is bigger than you, a little courtesy goes a long way. Laramie also has a daily eye-drop routine to keep up with. Her drops are affordable, and she’ll need someone who makes them a consistent part of her care, right alongside the meals, naps, and compliments. Her ideal home has plenty of affection, a comfortable place to snooze, and someone who enjoys the company of a little lady who is already quite good at being herself. She doesn’t need a packed calendar. A sunny patch of grass, a little adventure together, and a loving place to land will suit Laramie Claudette beautifully. In love? Meet Queenie Penny Paloma Your Lap, Her Throne If you know Shih Tzus, you already know... this little lady isn’t giving her heart away to just anybody. She likes to take a minute to observe the room and make sure you pass her vibe check first. Give her a little patience, a calm voice and the freedom to come to you, and before long, she’ll be scooting closer for pets. She would absolutely love a person who works from home or has plenty of time to be her BFF. She loves attention, on her terms, of course and once you’ve earned her trust, your lap will quickly become her favorite place to be. She is calm, low energy and perfectly content with a cozy place to lounge. She doesn’t need a packed social calendar or a complicated exercise routine; she’s looking for a peaceful home where life moves at her speed. She walks beautifully on leash, travels well in the car, settles easily in her kennel and would be perfectly happy in an apartment or a house. With other dogs, thoughtful introductions are the way to her heart. She especially enjoys small dogs, has an adorable, bouncy play style and is far too classy for any rough-and-tumble wrestling. She currently lives with cats and would do well with a calm, dog-savvy kitty. Her ideal family will understand that trust is something you build, not something you rush. A quieter home with adults or children over 10 would suit her best. Once she feels safe, her reserved little exterior gives way to a sweet, affectionate companion who wants a person she can call her own. If you understand the special charm of a Shih Tzu and don’t mind letting a tiny queen set the pace she may be exactly the girl you’ve been waiting for.  Check out Queenie Penny Paloma's Video: Ready to give you lap up to this tiny queen? Meet Cookie Monster 💙🍪 Cookie Monster was found rocking a very unique blue makeover, and while his colorful coat may fade with time, his spunky personality is definitely here to stay! https://youtu.be/bbgb8qDGFnA This young pup is a total social butterfly who believes every person he meets has the potential to become his new best friend. He happily makes his rounds for pets and isn’t afraid to hop right into your lap when he’s ready for some cuddles. When he’s not soaking up attention, Cookie Monster loves to play! He enjoys running, playing chase, and hanging out with canine friends of all sizes. He has wonderful social skills, shares toys nicely, and even patiently waits his turn for treats. Cookie Monster has also shown how sweet he can be with feline friends. During his cat introduction, he calmly said hello, explored the room, and later came back to give the kitty a little face lick! He’s already showing off some great puppy skills, including walking nicely on leash, responding well to guidance, and happily going into his kennel. With his outgoing nature, he could make an awesome adventure buddy for walks, dog-friendly patios, brewery trips, and plenty of outings with his future family. The blue may fade, but Cookie Monster’s charm is permanent. 💙 This goofy, affectionate little guy is ready to bring a whole lot of personality and love to his forever home. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6aa6ffd8c35306f2340b6824 Questions?
