SPECIAL NEEDS sweetie needs a foster or permanent home. Meet sweet boy Pepper, and 8-year-old Shih Tzu who sadly, is both sight and hearing impaired. He’s what you’d call a Velcro dog. He needs to be touched, a bit clingy if we really must say. He really needs a patient person, someone who is home most all of the time, and willing to have a lump of a little guy on their lap. He’s been in and out of a few homes in his life (one of his people passed away, and another moved into a retirement community that did not allow dogs). He's good with other dogs and cats. This guy is house trained and will whine when he needs to go out. At about 12 pounds, and neutered, he’s just the cutest little guy who’s had a rough time in life. He’s stressed on car rides. It's hard to capture his overall cuteness in photo, with his white socks, his black head on his lighter body and his little curl-over tail.. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.General, whose foster mom calls him Zip, and his housemate Bobo, were signed over to the shelter several months ago. They have done remarkably well adjusting to life in a foster home, and in fact, we think they are looking better than ever due to the extraordinary care and medical intervention they are receiving. Control of parasites  and nutritious food has made a huge difference in their appearance as well as in their attitudes. they were not well house trained when they first arrived, but are loving the chance to go out and play in the yard, and use grass for their potty time. We are talking about both of them here because it seems general is the support for his housemate Bobo in all things in life. He adores her, watches over her, and if she is stressed during times of loud noises or thunderstorms, he is there to comfort her. It is really adorable to witness, and because of that, we are really hoping they can be adopted together .If you are looking for sweet love, perhaps General Zip and Bobo would be perfect for you!
