But don’t let his laid-back side fool you — he’s the more playful one compared to his littermate! He’s not too shy and isn’t intimidated by cats or even the big dogs. This little teddy bear is ready to bring lots of love, laughter, and puppy shenanigans to his forever family. He’s still working on potty training, but he’s starting to understand that outside is the place to go! He’s just a baby, so he’ll need a family ready to help him learn and grow. Meet Baby! 🩷 -I am a beautifully marked Shih Tzu Mix, estimated to be 7 years old. Underweight at 10.4 pounds, I eat well and am looking better already! -I prefer to be in my kennel, but slowly coming around to leaving it for visits, and with time and patience, I'll get there! -My favorite is belly pets. -I am good about going outside on a leash in my backyard and know it's for doing my business. As long as a schedule is maintained, that works. Still need work on what happens if I'm off schedule, but do know what puppy pads are for. My foster mom has every confidence that once I'm used to my forever environment, with guidance, I'll do better and better. -Although I do well on a leash in the backyard, I'm not interested in going for a walk on one, cars whizzing by are scary to me. -There are no stairs in my foster home, but the one outside makes me lay down to be carried, but I've lately been considering tackling it. -I am a sweet, tolerant girl and get along fine with the cats in my house, good with dogs I meet, and am find with children. Although I do prefer a quiet atmosphere, I am not jumpy or nervous once I know I'm in a safe place. I am recently spayed, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, and am microchipped. Meet Charlie! 🐾💙 Hi, I’m Charlie! I’m an 11-month-old Shih Tzu boy with a big heart, a tiny body, and a perfect smile! 🥰 It took me less than a day to become best friends with my doggie foster brother! He’s bigger than me, but that doesn’t faze me one bit. Big or small, I love other dogs as long as we get a proper introduction. I’ve also had lots of socialization with kids, so I’ve been getting experience making friends with my human little buddies, too! As much as I love playtime, I might love cuddles even more! My favorite place to be is snuggled up next to my humans on the couch or tucked safely in their arms. ❤️ I’m also smaller than my foster family’s kitties, but I pretty much pretend they aren’t even there! 😹 I’m respectful of my feline housemates, so a home with kitties could be just fine for me.
