Story
Wishbone is a sweet, low-to-medium energy pup who loves short play bursts, long naps, and cuddling under blankets. He’s a total couch lounger and enjoys daily walks for all the Beagle sniffs! He’s crate-trained, house-trained, and knows basic commands. Wishbone is also a great office dog — calm and happy to snooze nearby. He prefers to be the only pet and would do best in a home without small children. While he’s good with respectful kids 10+, he finds younger ones too unpredictable. He can be a little possessive with attention over time around other dogs. Wishbone does have some separation anxiety and needs time to adjust to new places, but with patience, he settles in well. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. He’s looking for a loving, patient home where he can be someone’s loyal shadow, couch snuggler, and walking buddy. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with lots of love (and cuddles!) to give, Wishbone might just be your perfect match.

Chico is a 9 month's old l Neutered male who was in a neglectful home where he was not taken care of. My family offered to take him in and find him a new home. We cannot keep him long term as our family already has 2 dogs. He is friendly and likes other dogs and kids. He is still learning to be potty trained. Currently in the Anaheim area

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Ladybug, born on May 5th, Ladybug is an adorable little Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a playful spark. She came into the world right here in our rescue after we welcomed in her pregnant mom, who needed help when her family lost their home and could no longer keep their dogs. Ladybug weighs about 9 pounds and is as sweet as she is petite. She can be very shy at first, so she’ll need a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and confident. Once she warms up, her fun personality begins to shine. She loves playing with her siblings, and outdoor time is one of her favorite things—especially when it involves chasing bugs and dancing leaves in the breeze. Ladybug does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for a multi-pet household. Ladybug is ready to find a loving family who will help her continue to blossom. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion and have the patience to let her come out of her shell, Ladybug may be the perfect match for you. Ladybug's adoption fee is $200We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
