Donald is approx. 1-2 years old and weighs around 10 pounds. Donald can be very shy, at first. Once he warms up to you, he is the sweetest little fella. He loves to chew on antlers and sticks and play with his tennis ball and his girlfriend, Pebbles. Due to his small size, we would prefer for Donald to go to a home with older, dog savvy children or no children. Donald appears to be house broken however, accidents ,ay happen while he adjusts to a new home. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE DO NOT KNOW CAT COMPATIBILITY. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: OUR PETS ARE SHELTER PETS. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PAST. PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND PREPARED TO TRAIN/RETRAIN YOUR NEW PET. REMEMBER, THEY MUST HAVE TIME TO DECOMPRESS. If you have not heard of the 333 Rule, please Google it. If you are interested in making this pup part of your family, please email us. Please give a brief description of your home, family and what you are looking for in a new furry family member. You may include anything else you think will move you to the top of the adoption list. We are located in Hollywood, SC. If you are not local to the area, we can refer you to a transport company. This company is not affiliated with the Rescue and will charge a separate fee.

I dream of a family who cherishes cozy evenings and values a loyal companion. If you’re looking for unconditional love wrapped in fur, I’m your girl. Let's make countless happy memories together! This adorable little senior is a treasure. He is very protective of his domain and will bark to alert his family if there are intruders approaching. He came in with a small chihuahua named Shae and we feel they would truly appreciate staying together for their remaining years. Hagen has been very friendly with people at the sanctuary and fine meeting dogs on `neutral` territory. Please consider giving both Hagen and Shae a comfortable home for their remaining years.
