FULL OF EFFERVESCENT ENERGY DOB 1/1/14, 6.5 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Bubbles, a charming, loving, and friendly tricolor Chihuahua gal who got my name because I’m always filled with effervescent energy and can run like the wind. Don't you love the golden tip on my tail? I luxuriate when my foster mom showers me with plenty of attention and gives me every opportunity to snuggle with her. I love playing with other small dogs but am understandably cautious around larger dogs. I haven’t been around cats, but I’m open to meeting dog-friendly ones. I was adopted as a puppy, but recently my owner had some financial reverses and could not afford the apartment pet deposit. Fortunately, his kind-hearted neighbor, who happens to be a HOPE cat foster mom, stepped up to the plate and agreed to foster me until I could find a new home. She has opened up a whole new world for me! I had previously led a sheltered existence since my former owner had never walked me and had kept me on a small patio most of the time. Not only am I inside most of the time now where I can cuddle with my foster mom, but also I’m learning to walk on a leash. I relish all the other people and canines whom I meet on our daily excursions. Even though I’m tiny, nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog.
