Story
. They call me Beliquin. I suppose I am rather handsome — pale cream fur, soft gray on my face, ears, paws, and tail, and eyes as blue as the sky just before dusk. People seem to notice my eyes. They used to call them “hard,” “guarded.” That was just me watching out for myself. You would too, if you came from where I did. Back then, I didn’t trust anyone. A hiss, a swipe — that was how I kept the world away. People didn’t care about me, so I made sure they kept their distance. It worked, for a while. Then things changed. Someone saw more in me. They were patient, quiet. They didn’t flinch when I lashed out. They gave me space, and warmth. Slowly — slowly — I let my guard down. Now? I love a good lap. I’ll curl right in, purring like it’s the only thing that matters. A gentle hand, a warm blanket, the sound of someone breathing beside me — that’s home now. I still like my alone time, of course. I’m a cat, after all. But I’ve learned that being close to someone can feel safe.

Story
Hi! I am Celeste, I am 21 years old and sake is 4 years old (August 8). I am moving out of state for a job opportunity and unfortunately, I will be living with family for the time being . They are allergic and I cannot go with her. It breaks my heart to have to give her away, but I know I can no longer take care of her. It has taken me months and months of back and forth trying to to figure out a way to keep her, but its just stressed me out and put too much strain on me to take care of her. I love her so much. I am young and honestly my financial position prevents me from giving her the life I know she deserves. She is such a good cat. She is my good girl. She is loving, she adores cuddles (on her terms), and she loves to play and be outside. She is very talkative and she’ll definitely let you know when she needs something. She never bites or scratches, unless you annoyed her beyond redemption. She comes with the newest Litter Robot 4 model

Story
Icarus showed up at my house in Oregon last September. He is very sweet and almost acts like a dog. He loves to lounge and cuddle with people. He’s been around 2 Australian Shepards and current lives with us and our Great Pyrenees and gets along with dogs after warming up to them a bit. I have to rehome him because we just moved to Texas but I am a Wildland Firefighter in Oregon during the summer and fall and want him to be able to have a more consistent home, as I can’t take him with me. He does have some environmental allergies, so his left eye gets a bit gunky but he has been seen by the vet for this and it gets better with an eye wash. He’s very chill and the sweetest cat I’ve ever been around. He is home trained and used to be indoor-outdoor and is neutered. But is currently just indoor now, since I moved here from Colorado and it’s too hot for him outside. If you have any questions please let me know. Anyone would be lucky to have him.

Story
Cocoa is estimated to be about 1 year old. He’s very friendly, playful and will follow you everywhere. He’s been around young children and dogs and does great. I’m not sure about cats but he would probably enjoy a kitty brother or sister to play with. He is FeLV/FIV negative and is current on vaccines. He is on Royal Canin Urinary SO food. His vet gave us a prescription for the food to prevent any urinary issues.

Story
Part of bonded pair that must be adopted together (see Jet's biography). Meet Jojo, a vivacious and affectionate feline whose heart is as big as her playful spirit. Outgoing and curious, Jojo is always the first to greet you at the door, her tail high and eyes sparkling with excitement. She’s the kind of cat that loves attention and thrives on being petted. Whether she’s lounging on the couch waiting for her next round of belly rubs or curling up on your lap for a snooze, Jojo is never far from the action. Jojo has a soft spot for her shy companion, Jet, and is often found by her side, offering comfort and protection. The two share a cozy, quiet life together, often cuddling in Jojo's favorite spot—her cat house, where they both drift off into peaceful slumber. Always the adventurer, Jojo’s curiosity knows no bounds. She’ll happily chase after a feather wand toy, her eyes locked on it as she leaps and pounces with determination. And when the play session is over, you can usually find her tucked inside a blanket fort, where she enjoys the warmth and comfort of her secret hideaway. A friend to all, Jojo’s easy-going nature makes her beloved by everyone who meets her. Whether she’s greeting you at the door or napping peacefully by your side, Jojo is the perfect mix of loving, playful, and protective—a true treasure in her family’s heart.

Story
Approximate Date of Birth: 07/01/2022 Description:  Watch sweet Kai making biscuits via YouTube! Simply copy/paste this link: https://youtube.com/shorts/cjwyYPz8RVc I'm the loveliest fluff you ever have seen. I will follow you everywhere to see what you are doing. If you are working, cooking or cleaning, I will always be next to you. I will cuddle with you on the bed, if you allow me. I’m the best sidekick you will ever know. I’m open to having more siblings but a slow introduction is best. I might hiss at first, but I won’t hurt anyone. I’m not scared of strange people visiting the house. I will come running to greet all guests. Side note: I have a congenital illness that is out of my control. I cannot eliminate feces (poop) by myself. I need to use Miralax daily to help me empty my bowels. When I can empty my tummy, I’m a big happy girl running around. Please be aware that I cannot control my bowels and may have accidents. Please understand I will need your help to keep me clean and happy. Cleaning my own backend has proven problematic in the past and caused me lots of pain (ask my foster-mama for the story) and trust me, I don't want to go through that again. Even though my foster-mama loves me very much, is very patient with me and cleans me all the time she would love to help me find a place to call HOME. I want my own home where all (or most) of the attention would be for me. Words to Describe Me: Loving. Active. Curious. Goofy Favorite Place to Sleep: Same bed as you. But most of the time I will be in the kennel.  Favorite Toy: Pet collar with specific bell sound. Perfect Day: She loves roaming around the house checking everything out. Kitty's Likes: Chin scratches, head petting, play time. Kitty's Dislikes: Getting her booty cleaned. Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Yummy treats. Favorite Treat: Tiki, Squeeze up, Churu. Job Title in Foster: Bathroom Attendant When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: Dandelion (my body looks like that when I'm on my back) Good with Cats:   Likes cats given a proper introduction.  Good with Dogs:   Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met a dog). Good with Children:   Loves all children. Companion Animal: Not required.  Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match. Applications can be submitted on our website at  www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply.
