Hi… I am Groot. 🌿🐾Yes, that’s really my name — Groot, just like the lovable character from Guardians of the Galaxy. And if you know Groot, then you know that even though he only says a few words, he has a big heart and a gentle soul… just like me. I am Groot, a stunning Flame Point Siamese boy, about 2 years old, weighing in at a whopping 10 pounds. My coat is mostly soft cream with bright orange highlights on my ears and tail, and my breathtaking blue eyes tend to stop people in their tracks. I’m what you might call a gentle giant — big, handsome, and full of love.😸 Before coming to the shelter, it’s believed I was once a house kitty who either got lost or was sadly left to fend for myself. Thankfully, those days are behind me now. These days my life motto is simple: “I am Groot… and I love attention.” 💙I’m a big softy who enjoys soaking up all the pets and affection you’re willing to give. I also happen to be a huge fan of treats, so if you have a snack in your hand, don’t be surprised if you hear a very enthusiastic little voice asking for a bite. I’m quite the talkative fellow, and I’ve been told I have the cutest little head tilt when I’m listening to you. I’m a curious boy who likes to know what’s going on around me. I get along great with other cats, and I’ve had both indoor and outdoor experience. That said, I’ve definitely discovered that I prefer the finer things in life — air conditioning, comfy blankets, cozy homes, and of course… the free food. Honestly, who wouldn’t? Even though I enjoy my creature comforts, I still have a little hunter inside me. I’m a certified good mouser and always on the lookout for bugs or other tiny intruding pests. 🐭🐞 When it’s playtime, I love to run and chase toys, especially wire feather toys and puffballs. I can get pretty goofy when I’m having fun. So if you’re looking for a handsome, affectionate, slightly chatty companion with movie-star charm, there’s really only one thing left to say…I am Groot. 🌿💚And you can call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me.****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

The Kitten was born on October 5th 2025. My sister believes the baby is a girl. Its parents come from the same litter but somehow the dad looks Siamese and mom looks Tabby. Aiko is shy like his mom but super cuddly like his dad.

Luna is the most gentle quietest sweetest cat ever. She is a literal sweetheart. She is quiet and loves to lay by you or on you. She would do best in a more quiet environment. For if it’s loud she will hide. She has never bit or scratched ever. She is very docile. She does very well with any person, dog, cat or kid. Like I said only loud noises scare her a bit and she will hide. She does have an off and on problem of a health condition called entropian. It has to do with her eyes. She has surgery on them when she was little but it still flares up here and there and makes her eyes crust up but it does resolve. She would benefit probably from another surgery at some point. But overall she is such a sweet heart and deserves a loving home
