❤️ Special Home Needed for a Very Special Girl ❤️ Sometimes the cats who need us the most aren't the ones who immediately climb into our laps. We have a beautiful 4-year-old brown Siamese girl who came to us after being picked up by ACS with her kittens. Her babies are friendly, happy little kitties, but Momma is a different story. This beautiful girl is spicy, frightened, and unsure of people. She cannot be held right now, and the world can still be a pretty scary place for her. But we don't believe that means she doesn't deserve a loving home. We believe she simply needs someone who is willing to give her time, patience, and the chance to learn that she is safe. 🐾 Since coming into rescue, she has been spayed and brought up to date on her vaccinations, so now we're hoping to find the special person who will take the next step with her. 🏡 We are looking for a patient, understanding adopter who doesn't expect an instant lap cat. Someone who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. Someone who understands that sitting quietly in the same room, offering treats, playing with a wand toy, or simply giving her a safe place to observe the world can be a huge step forward. Maybe she will never be the type of cat who wants to be carried around. And that's okay. Maybe her way of saying "I love you" will be sitting beside you instead of on your lap. Maybe she'll eventually accept a gentle touch. Maybe she'll surprise us all. What she needs most is someone willing to give her the opportunity to find out. ❤️ We are asking our rescue community: 🐾 Is there someone out there who would be willing to give this beautiful girl a chance? We are willing to negotiate her adoption fee for the right person and the right application. This isn't about finding just anyone for her. It's about finding the person who understands that earning the trust of a frightened cat can be one of the most rewarding experiences there is. Kimmie (lilac point) and Kara (snowshoe). Bonded sisters. Kimmie is shy and standoffish. She is slow to warm but is sweet. Kara is shy at first but loves pets on the back of her neck and cheeks. Kara was born with a birth defect so her back "ankles" (calcaneus) are turned in close together. She can walk, run, and jump onto short surfaces. She needs help getting on high surfaces and will need placed down on the floor after holding her. She can't be dropped like the typical cat or she might not land on her feet. She also prisses when she walks. Neither cat likes being picked up but Kara will tolerate it at times for brief moments. This means, over time, she will become comfortable with being held.  ##2812846##

Meet this sweet little lady, Diamond! She loves to lounge around, soak up the good life, and keep you company. She also likes other cats. Most of the time she’s a laid-back little couch potato, but every now and then she decides it’s time for some zoomies and mischief! Diamond is indifferent to children with good pet manners   She’s looking for a forever home where she can relax, make friends, and occasionally remind everyone that she’s still got a little sass. ##2833422##

Homer is a 3-4 year old male siamese that we adopted 3 years ago from a cat rescue. He has severe anxiety that I was hoping to work through. He is scared of men (possible abuse maybe), loud noises, kids, and territorial animals. He needs a home of a lady or ladies with a low volume life style, preferably no other animals or kids... or men (he does fine with older, calmer female teens). He is super sweet and cuddly as long as it's just me, but we have 3 kids including any 18 month old and as much as I love him, he is not living his best most comfortable life.
