Scout and Shadow, two beautiful Siamese-mix babies born in my backyard. Scout is bold and brave, always eager to explore, while Shadow is extremely timid, following Scout’s lead. Shadow’s markings give her a slightly worried look, which suits her personality and will pull on your heart strings. Scout’s are strikingly handsome. Both have beautiful blue eyes. Born feral, they have taken months to socialize. Scout is now a total love bug but will hide around new people. Shadow is still fearful though starting to come around. The first of our five cats came to us semi-feral and I’ve learned how precious it is to win the trust and love of a feral cat. They will adore you and you alone, capturing your heart like no other. They’ll take some time and patience, Shadow especially, though I think she will become a sweet, devoted companion. Sam I Am tested negative/negative, today, at his vet appointment. We took him in from an At-risk Risk situation and had him fully vetted at Sheltering Hands, Inc. Clinic. He was neutered, vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, blood tested and flea prevention. We had two cats sterilized this morning. We had TWELVE done on Monday and have 3 cats going on Friday. This handsome guy could use a foster home but what he REALLY needs is a FOREVER home. He does come from a known history through the finders. They've been caring for him a few weeks but they are unable to adopt him. He will require some time to decompress , but it won't take him long. Located in Ocala FL. ##2683434##

Story
Precious kittens left in a parking lot with their mother. Mom is just a baby herself and had no street smarts. Fortunately we were able to rescue the family in time to save three of the kittens. The 4th kitten (as reported by employees) was never seen by our trapping team. These babies are healthy and afraid. They have been through something very scary and they need some love and affection to settle down. The two sisters are beautiful Siamese type colorpoint. Artemis could not have had any control over where she was adopted. she landed in a wonderful family that loves her very much. what that family couldn't have known is that Artemis really doesn't enjoy the chaos of young children. while she does receive love and lots of attention, she really would prefer a more laid back lifestyle . not all cats are cut out for the kid bit. she doesn't want to be grabbed around the rib cage and carried around like a toy. she's a more refined lady and would really just appreciate quiet days and book reading . she gets on OK with the other cats and dogs. she's not aggressive to the children they just create stress for her. in her current situation this has caused her to hide often in her cave and occasionally urinate inappropriately just outside the litter box . we are confident this is not behavior that will continue if she is put in the right environment. she's expressing herself in the only ways she knows how and we hear her loud and clear ! she's coming into our care August 13th 2026 . if you're reading this it means she is available :) please feel free to text us at 352-843-6858 for an application and with any questions you may have  ##2816598##
