Story
Peepa DOB @ 07/2025. She is about 7 LBS. Peepa is an adorable, one-of-a-kind, playful girl. She is very vocal. She loves chasing wands and playing “soccer” with her toys, all while making the most endearing velociraptor-like noises. She even growls while she eats, guarding her meal as if it might be taken at any moment. When she’s not in play mode, Peepa is incredibly cuddly and affectionate, happily purring the moment you pick her up. She can play well with other pets, though she’s a bit of a drama queen—quick to call for help if the game turns against her or if she gets startled. Peepa loves attention and would be perfectly happy being the only baby in the home. ***Pippa is spayed, dewormed, and has received his FVRCP & Rabies Vaccine. ***Once you submit an application, I will reach out by text/email to connect over a phone call, ask a few follow up questions, and coordinate a meetup.

Story
My niece has an estate sale business and she got Lucy and her very tiny brother Linus at a house. Linus had failure to thrive and did not make it. Lucy was raised by dogs and she does the whole sniff the behind thing, which the other cats hate and she is not really the greatest around the newer dog, but she does get along with the dogs who were around her as a kitten, so maybe dogs, but probably not cats although she does watch them on TV. She’s very vocal and complains about her (obviously) starving to death between meals. She’s a scratcher, so you’ll needs scratching posts or thrift furniture, ngl. She’s also been known to lose her entire brain and run up the screen on the porch if there’s a lizard involved, so, fair warning. And, of course, Siamese, so she has her own ideas and let’s you know if you’re not taking her complaints seriously.

Please complete our online Adoption Application (https://www.saveourstraysinc.com/adopt/adoption-application/). An application is required to move forward with any adoption. NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE! All Save Our Strays Inc cats have been sterilized, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine, microchip, and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. A contract must be completed prior to any adoption after approval of the adopter by one of our adoption volunteers. There is a screening process so merely wanting to adopt doesn't make someone eligible to adopt. Adoptions are approved at the discretion of the screeners. Please note cats come in and out of foster homes so seeing a cat on this site does not guarantee it will be available when you contact us. Also we do not adopt on a first come first serve basis. The present adoption fee is $150.00 (please note this amount may change without notification). Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat. ##2667501##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Tao, I came from a home that couldn’t really take care of me because of some medical reasons.  I learned to stay quiet, stay calm. When I was surrendered from that situation, I didn’t fuss or fight—I just let out a small sigh of relief. At the vet, I surprised everyone. I sat still, cooperated, and handled the whole exam like a seasoned pro. No drama, no panic… just a calm little cat doing his best.  It was great to flea- free again.   I warm up best with slow approaches and soft voices.  Once I know you’re safe, I’m all gentle eyes and will lean into your hand. I’m Tao—a peaceful soul looking for a home that matches my quiet, thoughtful way of moving through the world. To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.  For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org.  Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, my name is Claire. I’m a beautiful flame point Siamese mix with soft cream fur and the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen. People tell me I have an old soul — and I suppose that’s true. Even though I’m still young, I have quite a story to tell. For nearly a year, I survived on my own outside a Shell gas station. The people there were kind and made sure I had food, and I will always be grateful to them. But food wasn’t the only thing I needed. Deep down, I longed for safety, for warmth, for someone to truly love me. I wanted a home. Thankfully, MCAS stepped in to help me, and Sheltering Hands showed me what real comfort feels like — soft blankets, full bowls, gentle voices, and caring hands. For the first time in my life, I understood what it means to belong. I didn’t have to watch the world from a parking lot anymore. I could finally rest. I am a very food-motivated girl and I never take a good meal for granted. Treats are a treasure to me. But even more than food, I love people. I love being held, petted, and doted on. I lean in close when you talk to me. I soak up reassurance. Tell me I’m beautiful and that I’m a good girl, and I will give you the softest look and the gentlest purr. All I want now is a quiet, loving place where my tender heart can finally exhale. A forever home where I can give the deep, steady love that lives inside this young heart of mine. Estimated Birthdate: 2/16/2022 Likes: Being held and cuddled, being told I’m a beautiful, good girl, and mealtime and tasty treats. Dislikes: Going too long without affection and empty food bowls. To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application, which is available here:   https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication.  Learn more about Sheltering Hands - visit our website at https://www.shelteringhands.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 5:10 pm
