They’ve been with us for over a year and a half, and they’ve filled every day with their playful antics and sweet companionship. Though they’re now adults, they haven’t lost their youthful spirit. Whether they’re chasing each other around or just hanging out, their energy and affection are endless. After a rough start, Mantis and Rocket have thrived in the warmth of our home. They’ve come so far since their early days, and we’ve watched them grow into strong, happy cats who are ready to share their love with their forever family. Despite being FELV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus positive), these siblings continue to live life to the fullest. FELV does affect their immune system, but it doesn’t stop them from being the playful, affectionate cats they’ve always been. FELV is not contagious to humans or other pets (except for cats), so they’d do best in a home with either no other cats or one that already understands the dynamics of living with FELV-positive cats. We adopted Uzi in Boise, ID. His birthday is 4/1/18 making him 8 yrs old. Uzi is an sweet cat that loves to sun bath, eat treats and knead his little paws away when you’re laying down. Our lives shifted after having children and sadly we can no longer give Uzi the attention he deserves. Uzi has been an inside cat his whole life, and would love to find someone who is willing to continue that. He has been in our enclosed backyard but is very on edge and a bit of a scaredy cat when outside. Uzi is also litter trained and doesn’t need to be on a feeding schedule. Since he was a kitten, we’ve had his bowl filled and he will eat throughout the day, making him low maintenance in that area and doesn’t over eat. Uzi has been around dogs and has done fairly well, but has never been exposed to other cats. He does well with children as well but definitely prefer adults to cuddle with. We’re praying that we can find someone that would give Uzi the love and attention he deserves.
