*SPECIAL NEEDS - READ THOROUGHLY* Back in September 2021 this tiny girl was transported to the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center from Blue Pearl and needed a rescue's help ASAP. She was estimated at 4 weeks old, not even weighing a pound, had a upper respiratory infection, microphthalmia, and was later diagnosed with a vaginal-rectal fistula. Being so tiny, he suggested medical management at that time. We are happy to report that she is doing amazing since with no concerns! She was adopted but returned less than 6 months later through no fault of her own. We are getting to know her personality now but she is still a happy, active girl! She does not know she has any limitations so her home would be one that would have another young kitty (or cat-friendly playful dog or child) that can keep her entertained while also making sure she has a safe environment as she is blind (not to be around pools that are not securely enclosed or balconies for example). All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. Rascal was adopted from a hoarder/neglect case. He is 5 years old. He is a very loving and friendly cat with the typical Siamese sass. He loves to be pet and he likes being picked up. He has only lived with male cats. He loves catnip toys. Rascal is great with kids. I am looking to rehome him because I moved in with family and they have a female cat, which has caused him to start marking. He is okay with dogs, but he doesn’t like being chased.

Dakota is a Siamese/Tuxedo mix who loves affection and love on his terms! He is a VERY skittish and shy kittie who needs a family who's extremely PATIENT with him and will work with him on bringing him out of his shell. Dakota will come to you for petting and conversation but doesn't like to be held. You can lean down to give kisses from time to time as well. Dakota will need a playmate who is just as sweet, gentle, and passive as he is, otherwise he would do extremely well as an ONLY CHILD. He will come to you for love, petting, and interaction when he wants it. At times he will have a conversation with you when he feels a bit "chatty" and he will come and lay in your lap or at your side, but it has to be when HE wants to. Hello, my name is Sebastian. I am a distinguished older cat (15 years old) who loves to lounge around. One of my most favorite lounge around spots is sitting right beside you on the couch each evening watching t.v. I am looking for a calm home, with no children (they scare me a little, especially when they try to pull my tail!) I have a thyroid condition that is being controlled very well with Hill's Science Diet Y/D, but apart from that, I am very fit for my age. I may possibly get along with another cat or senior dog, though I have been an only pet for the past six years in my current home. I look forward to meeting my next "furever" home owner!
