Rescued from the county shelter, adopted, and then returned through no fault of her own, she has faced every hardship with quiet strength and a heart that still chooses love. Despite everything she’s been through—surviving the streets, enduring neglect, and becoming a mother while she was still a kitten herself—Sunshine remains sweet, affectionate, and deeply trusting. Her body carries the marks of her past, but her spirit is bright, playful, and unbroken. Sunshine gets along well with other cats and is tolerant of dogs, making her a wonderful match for many types of homes. She loves gentle affection, interactive play, and the comfort of a safe, stable environment where she can finally relax and be cherished. Sunshine is considered a special‑needs kitty, but her care is far more manageable than her history might suggest. She was previously on daily liver medication, but she has since been successfully weaned off her meds and is now thriving on a mix of raw and wet food. To keep her feeling her best, she does need semi‑annual labwork to monitor her liver values. With this simple routine, she can continue living a happy, healthy life. Vivaldi is a stunning adult lynx point Siamese boy with the softest personality to match his soft blue eyes. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and easygoing — the kind of cat who settles into your life like he’s always belonged there. He enjoys gentle affection, loves being near his people, and gets along wonderfully with other cats, making him a great fit for multi‑cat homes. Vivaldi is FIV+, but this doesn’t stop him from living a full, healthy, happy life. Cats with FIV can live just as long as other cats, and they can safely live with FIV‑negative cats as long as everyone gets along — which Vivaldi absolutely does. FIV simply means his immune system is a little more delicate, so he benefits from regular vet care, a stable home, and lots of love. With his calm nature, affectionate spirit, and beautiful Siamese markings, Vivaldi is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a very lucky family.

Meet Hikaru! 💙 Hikaru is as special as they come! This handsome boy is full of personality and isn’t shy about telling you when he’d like some attention. He’s wonderfully talkative and will happily chirp and meow for more pets. The moment you open his cage, he’s ready to pop up and greet you, eager for all the love you have to give. You may notice that Hikaru is cross-eyed, but don’t let that be the first thing you see. It certainly doesn’t stop him from finding his way to the people he loves or from sharing his big, affectionate heart. The second you start petting him, he melts into your touch, soaking up every bit of affection with the sweetest expression. Hikaru has a truly one-of-a-kind spirit. He’s loving, playful, full of charm, and ready to brighten someone’s life with his endless affection and adorable conversations. Peanut and Stinker are a bonded pair who are happiest when they’re together. Peanut is a shy guy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves to be pet and will ask for affection with the sweetest little nudges. Scratches on his head and chin are his favorite, and the pure bliss on his face when Stinker licks his face is just too cute! He's got pretty blue eyes and a cute little pink nose that are to die for. They love to snuggle together in a huge, warm bundle of adorable kitty goodness. Peanut has been diagnosed with diabetes, which means he requires a special diet and insulin twice a day. The good news is that he qualifies for Abandoned Pet Rescue’s Medical Adoption Program, so all of his veterinary care will be taken care of at Abandoned Pet Rescue. This duo is full of love and companionship, and they are looking for a patient, caring home where they can stay together.
