Story
Casper – please read fully before applying Casper is a stunning lynx point Siamese kitten with the softest fur and the gentlest soul. He is sweet, sensitive, and very timid at first. The world has not always felt safe to him, so he takes time to decide that you are safe too. Casper is highly food motivated (Churus are his absolute favorite), which makes bonding with him both rewarding and doable. Once he trusts you, he leans into affection in his own quiet way. He isn’t a bold, in-your-face kitten — he’s the kind who watches carefully, learns your scent, and slowly chooses you. Casper is partially blind and relies heavily on his sense of smell and memory to navigate. Because of this, he does not enjoy being picked up unexpectedly. Sudden movement can startle him, and he deserves an adopter who understands that his boundaries are about safety — not attitude. He was born with eyelid agenesis, a congenital condition where the eyelids do not fully form. Without proper eyelid protection, the hair around his eyes rubbed against his corneas, leading to limited vision. Despite this, Casper adapts beautifully when given a stable environment. He memorizes layouts quickly and thrives with consistency. Casper will need: • A calm, patient home • An adopter experienced with shy or special-needs cats • A predictable environment (no frequent rearranging of furniture) • Gentle handling and slow introductions He would do best in a quieter household without young children or chaotic energy. A confident but respectful feline companion could potentially help him continue building confidence. Casper is not the kitten for someone looking for an instant cuddle-bug. He is the kitten for someone who understands that earning trust is an honor. Watching him open up — even in small ways — is incredibly special. Underneath the fear is a loving, resilient little survivor who deserves someone willing to meet him where he is. If you have the patience and heart for a shy, special boy, Casper may be your soulmate. 💛

Story
Sunshine is a breathtaking 2.5‑year‑old snowshoe beauty whose gentle spirit has carried her through more than any young cat should ever endure. Rescued from the county shelter, adopted, and then returned through no fault of her own, she has faced every hardship with quiet strength and a heart that still chooses love. Despite everything she’s been through—surviving the streets, enduring neglect, and becoming a mother while she was still a kitten herself—Sunshine remains sweet, affectionate, and deeply trusting. Her body carries the marks of her past, but her spirit is bright, playful, and unbroken. Sunshine gets along well with other cats and is tolerant of dogs, making her a wonderful match for many types of homes. She loves gentle affection, interactive play, and the comfort of a safe, stable environment where she can finally relax and be cherished. Sunshine is considered a special‑needs kitty, but her care is far more manageable than her history might suggest. She was previously on daily liver medication, but she has since been successfully weaned off her meds and is now thriving on a mix of raw and wet food. To keep her feeling her best, she does need semi‑annual labwork to monitor her liver values. With this simple routine, she can continue living a happy, healthy life. Sunshine is ready for a future filled with love, comfort, and stability. She’s looking for someone who can see past her early hardships and appreciate her for the extraordinary cat she is—a survivor, a sweetheart, and a companion with so much love to give. Could you be the one to give Sunshine the second chance she’s been waiting for?
