Story
Hi, I’m a 4-year-old Siamese kitty named Wexler.  I have a gentle soul and a story that shaped who I am today. I came into the shelter two years ago from a very difficult hoarding situation, and that’s when Klassy Kats Cat Rescue stepped in and gave me a chance. At first, I was placed as a barn kitty, but it didn’t take long for them to realize I was actually a very special indoor cat at heart. I’m lovable but super shy, and I do get scared easily—life taught me to be cautious—but I truly love people once I feel safe. I was tip-eared back in my barn-kitty days, and I also had a bad ear infection that left me with what humans call “cauliflower ear.", and a snaggly tooth.  My foster mom said it  just adds to my charm and tells part of my journey. I’m a bit quirky in the best way. I love wet food, but I prefer to enjoy it quietly at night (I like my routine!). If you have wet food, I will absolutely be your best friend. I get along wonderfully with other cats, and I’d do best in a quiet, patient home where I can settle in at my own pace. Because I’m fair-skinned, I need to stay indoors only, where I feel safest anyway. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who just needs understanding, consistency, and a soft place to land, I promise I’ll reward you with quiet devotion and a very special bond. ##1880313##

Story
Meet Thai— a small, whiskered roommate with big main-character energy . Professional napper , part-time window watcher , and full-time snack enthusiast , Thai can usually be found sunbathing in a warm patch of light  or supervising household activities from a high perch .   They’re equal parts sweet and sassy : one minute asking for chin scratches , the next sprinting through the hallway like they’ve got important cat business . Favorite hobbies include chasing mysterious dust motes , pretending to be starving five minutes after dinner , and curling up near their humans like a fuzzy little heater .   Loyal, curious, and quietly hilarious , Thai makes every day a bit cozier — and a lot more entertaining .   Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt . This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually.  Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $125  for all our cats. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, have been feline leukemia/ feline aids tested, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. We will ensure the microchip is registered. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.
