Story
Pros: Biz is an super affectionate, vocal young man (~2 years old). Active and a great mouser, he offers plenty of entertainment. He is housetrained. Loves snacks, cuddling and belly rubs. Cons: He is a rescue (former stray) and can be territorial with other cats. However, as stated above, he LOVES people of all ages. Considerations: He has FIV, but as long as he stays inside (to be clear, he can go outside if the home has a good, tall fence. this is just to protect him from potentially sick outdoor cats), he'll stay perfectly healthy.

Story
This is Petunia (Grey) and Gracie (Beige). They are approximately 1 1/2 yo bonded sisters and had been living since kittens in a commercial truck parking lot in a high risk area . Petunia has always been friendly with us since discovered with Gracie & her kittens late last fall . The two would run out greeting us , Petunia enjoying pets while Gracie more reserved & hesitant of human touch. Most recent (3/13) while both recuperating from Spay surgery we realized they have great potential for house kitties. In our home situation they remained calm , love soft blankets , music & immediately adapted to using the litter box . They have already mastered playing with a wand . They have their own shared language of kitty twerps , play & sleep together . We believe with time , patience & trust they would adjust well becoming very sweet additions to your life.

Story
Kuma came from a home where they have many cats. They were all taken care of but they needed help getting them all spayed/neutered and vaccinated! Fortunately, the rescue was able to help! Kuma is a hunk of a Snowshoe Siamese and enjoys sleeping on his tower in a sunny window and watching the birds!

Story
I adopted Oliver as a kitten in college. He is currently 7 years old and loves to bask in the sun. My husband and I got a kitten a few years ago and that changed the dynamic completely. Oliver has always been skittish and shy. And now there are territorial issues. Oliver would be so happy to be in an only 1 cat household. He’s a goofy boy once he gets comfortable and he loves to lay on your chest.

Story
BONDED WITH MERCEDES. Say hi to Buzz! This handsome male Siamese-mix kitty came to Misty Eyes from a good samaritan. He is living the good life in a foster home, and he`s quickly learned how to be a good house kitty and a great companion. He has struggled with health issues, but is doing well now, as long as he remains on a prescription diet. Also, he has become bonded to his foster sister, Mercedes, so the two of them will need to be adopted together. If you`d like to meet Buzz and Mercedes, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Meet Waluigi! 5 yrs old hoarding rescue has been at the sanctuary since he was 3 months old. All 37 other cats from the same rescue have been adopted, sadly Waluigi is still here. Shy little guy but once he’s comfortable he is the best at cuddles and snuggles. He just needs time! You will barely hear or know he is around. A home with other pets is preferred. Still waiting for his happy forever Loves cats and dogs too Waluigi is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
