I have had Archie since he was a fluffy white kitten. I originally got him to keep my other cat company while I was away at work/school, but turns out my other cat is not such a fan and prefers the presence of dogs. I have since found out I am allergic to cat dander, and had to move in with my parents where there is already far too many cats. I have been completely heartbroken because Archie is seriously the best cat I have ever owned. He is extra loving, talkative (especially when he needs more food), and very adaptable. My 18 month old can be very rough with him, and he doesn't mind one bit, in fact he seems to enjoy the attention! I adopted him with all shots, neutered, and have original paperwork. He is not up to date on rabies or other annual shots. Pictures don't do him justice, he's beautiful also! Id love to see him go to a forever home rather than a shelter!

She likes playing with her toys, using her cardboard scratching post, having her back scratched, and looking out windows. She does not like being picked up or snuggled, being alone, or being around boys or men. Sophie was adopted from the shelter six months ago and she was very scared and stressed at the time. It took several months for her to stop stress peeing outside her litter box and to allow herself to be brushed or scratched. She still doesn’t like being petted. She will occasionally choose to sleep in a lap if the person has a blanket and is reading or distracted so they leave her alone. But mostly she likes to share space outside of touching distance. Unfortunately, as her other behaviors normalize it has become obvious that men and boys stress her out. Since half our family is male, we would like to find her a loving all female family, preferably with no dogs or young children, and at least one other cat to keep her company. Penny, a 7 year old female, has been with our family since she was 3 months old. She is a pure bred blue point siamese. She is very friendly and has been around young children, as well as other cats. She gets along with both, although she keeps her distance from very young kids (5 and under). She is very curious, but also loves to be by her humans to sit in their laps.
