Forrest & Valley were trapped in Seminole Valley. We had intended to TNR but they turned out to be friendly. We will work with them for a few weeks to make them more comfortable around people.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. Ellen is calm and aloof, yet we find her to be very kind and gentle, she just prefers to watch you from afar!  She is not a fan of being picked up and can be slow to warm up to new people, but she gains her confidence from watching her cat friends as they interact with people. Ellen does very well living with other cats and we think she would most enjoy taking her best friend Sparkle with her to her new home as she is happiest when she is curled up in her cat bed with another feline companion!   Ellen has not met dogs, but because of her timid nature we think she may prefer to not live with them.
