Story
❤️ Special Home Needed for a Very Special Girl ❤️ Sometimes the cats who need us the most aren't the ones who immediately climb into our laps. We have a beautiful 4-year-old brown Siamese girl who came to us after being picked up by ACS with her kittens. Her babies are friendly, happy little kitties, but Momma is a different story. This beautiful girl is spicy, frightened, and unsure of people. She cannot be held right now, and the world can still be a pretty scary place for her. But we don't believe that means she doesn't deserve a loving home. We believe she simply needs someone who is willing to give her time, patience, and the chance to learn that she is safe. 🐾 Since coming into rescue, she has been spayed and brought up to date on her vaccinations, so now we're hoping to find the special person who will take the next step with her. 🏡 We are looking for a patient, understanding adopter who doesn't expect an instant lap cat. Someone who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. Someone who understands that sitting quietly in the same room, offering treats, playing with a wand toy, or simply giving her a safe place to observe the world can be a huge step forward. Maybe she will never be the type of cat who wants to be carried around. And that's okay. Maybe her way of saying "I love you" will be sitting beside you instead of on your lap. Maybe she'll eventually accept a gentle touch. Maybe she'll surprise us all. What she needs most is someone willing to give her the opportunity to find out. ❤️ We are asking our rescue community: 🐾 Is there someone out there who would be willing to give this beautiful girl a chance? We are willing to negotiate her adoption fee for the right person and the right application. This isn't about finding just anyone for her. It's about finding the person who understands that earning the trust of a frightened cat can be one of the most rewarding experiences there is. If you have experience with shy, fearful, or unsocialized cats—or simply have a quiet home and a very patient heart—we would love to hear from you. ❤️ She doesn't need someone to fix her. She needs someone willing to show her that she is safe, loved, and finally home. Adoption fee for right application is negotiable.

Story
I go by Luna or 'Blue-Eyed Tiger Princess' when outside exploring. I have been with my current owner since I was a tiny terror of a kitten. I am a Mature cat now, about 9 years old.I am an inside/outside cat, at least during the summer. I usually do not wander away for too long of a period and will hang out wherever you are sitting, even outside on the porch. I have caught voles, small rabbits, and birds. None killed as far as my owner knows. I never approach the busy street out front but do explore the yards of the block I live on. I can be a bit mouthy when shut-out from where you are hanging out or sleeping. Easy to sleep with. I do not mind being 'kicked' around a little and put up with someone who tosses and turns. I have been stalked and chased at least twice by local red foxes which is another reason I should find a new home.

Please contact Sarah (sarah@solaspetadoption.org), (402) 577-0213 for more information about this pet.Looking for s'more love and attention!Marshmallow is ready to get s'more love & attention from a new fur-ever family. She is a beautiful 3-year-old Siamese mix. Her kittens have been adopted, now to find her a loving home as well! This mama originally came from a not-so-clean house, so at first she'll need to be confined to a room with several big litter boxes for a while, and then slowly let out to roam with supervision... otherwise, she will hide to poop. She just needs time and patience to learn to only use the litter box... and positive reinforcement will be a huge help. Marshmallow likes to talk and loves to rub up against your legs!September 5, 2026, 7:56 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ellen is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese, she is one of many local cats that joined rescue as part of a hoarding case in 2023. She will be most comfortable living in a quiet, cat savvy home with other feline companions. Ellen is seeking a stable home where she can settle in while she gains confidence, she is not a match for someone who moves frequently or has a busy/active home. Ellen is calm and aloof, yet we find her to be very kind and gentle, she just prefers to watch you from afar!  She is not a fan of being picked up and can be slow to warm up to new people, but she gains her confidence from watching her cat friends as they interact with people.  Ellen does very well living with other cats and we think she would most enjoy taking one of her rescue friends with her to her new home as she is happiest when she is curled up in her cat bed with another feline companion! Ellen has not met dogs, but because of her timid nature we think she may prefer to not live with them. She would also need a home without any children. She does not enjoy unwanted pets or sticky fingers trying to pick her up. If you have a quiet and settled home,  Ellen would love to keep building her confidence with you! Ellen's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives.  If you would like to meet Ellen, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 5, 2026, 12:45 pm
