Nimbus’ rescue story is one for the books! This tiny flame point kitten appeared out of nowhere in the Dollar Tree parking lot in Como and immediately attached himself—literally—to a UPS driver. He trotted right behind him, hopped into the truck, and tried again (and again!) to follow him no matter where he went. The poor driver froze, clearly unsure what to do, and worried the kitten would get hurt if left in the parking lot or near the road. That’s when Nimbus’ rescuer stepped in and saved the day. After a warm bath and ear cleaning, Nimbus showed just how sweet and good-natured he truly is. He has a friendly, outgoing personality and adjusts well—he isn’t even bothered by dogs! Playful, curious, and full of kitten mischief, he’s the type who wants to be part of everything, always ready to charm whoever crosses his path. Nimbus is looking for a forever family who will keep him safe, loved, and entertained. I opened the door one morning and this female cat comes running in, like help me, so we fed her and let her stay with us for a while. Then I remember, I saw this cat in my neighbor's yard playing with their children down the street last summer, so I took her to them. The Spanish adults do not speak English, so a teenage girl tried to translate, yes it was their cat, but they did not want her any longer. I ask, if the cat could have babies their reply was no. She would be best as a one cat home, does get along to some degree with other cats but insist on being the Dominant Cat. She is not vocal, eats dry and wet foods, loves to be around humans, and will sleep with you if you let her. She will go to the front door when she is ready to go outside to potty. She likes to play outside during day, but wants to come inside at night.
