We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted.  You can visit our website at www.forpetssakerescue.org for our full adoption process and adoption application. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call.  We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents. Story
If you're looking for a feline companion that exudes elegance and charm, look no further than Precious, the stunning Siamese mix. With her striking blue eyes and sleek coat, Precious is sure to capture your heart from the moment you lay eyes on her. Precious is a social butterfly when it comes to her feline friends. She gets along well with cats and is known to be quite the socialite in multi-cat households. While she may tolerate dogs, it's important that they respect her personal space. With a gentle introduction and some patience, Precious can coexist peacefully with low energy canine companions. When it comes to children, Precious is a bit particular. She is great with older children who understand her need for space and respect her boundaries. Smaller children may make her a bit uneasy, so it's important to monitor their interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe.  Unlike some high-energy breeds, Precious is more mellow than playful. She enjoys lounging in a sunny spot, watching the world go by. Her favorite treat? Wet food, of course! Treat her to a delicious meal, and you'll have a friend for life. If you're in search of a regal and refined feline companion, look no further than Precious, the Siamese mix. With her easy-going nature and social grace, she is sure to bring joy and love into your home. Just remember to give her the space and respect she deserves, and you'll have a loyal companion for years to come. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue.
