We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Merrilu was adopted as a rescue when she was a kitten. She is now almost 9 years old. She is very affectionate, loves being in a warm lap, purrs easily, kneads on fleecey blankets, and still chases strings and plays fetch. She also enjoys her independence when she’s in the mood to be alone. She will do best with at least one other cat for a companion, especially if her new owner works outside the home full time.
