Norman is a lot of love in a solid package. He was pretty upset when he arrived, but he has slowly warmed up to certain volunteers. We expect his sparkling personality to show through as he meets more people to give him pets! The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday!! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. Looking for s'more love and attention!Marshmallow is ready to get s'more love & attention from a new fur-ever family. She is a beautiful 3-year-old Siamese mix. Her kittens have been adopted, now to find her a loving home as well! This mama originally came from a not-so-clean house, so at first she'll need to be confined to a room with several big litter boxes for a while, and then slowly let out to roam with supervision... otherwise, she will hide to poop. She just needs time and patience to learn to only use the litter box... and positive reinforcement will be a huge help. Gypsy came to our rescue from a shelter where he wasn't doing well and it seemed he needed to be in a foster setting to get him out of his funk. Gypsy lost his person and had another companion cat that was adopted out before we were asked if we would be interested in taking him into a foster home. We were lucky and had a wonderful person reach out willing to foster this rather overweight senior boy. He is completely UTD on vetting but could use more playtime to help offset his weight struggle. In the few short weeks that he has been with our foster, he has perked up, seems to be accepting the fact that life can offer some truly terrible knocks. He, no doubt, missed his person but getting love an attention constantly has really helped him cope more. He is roughly around 10 years old, handsome neutered Flame Point Siamese, long-haired. He doesn't really enjoy being picked up but after some weight loss, that may change. He does enjoy being petted and loved and no doubt as he understands he has new permanent people at a forever home, that will improve more. He will needregular brushing to keep up on any mats that accumulate.

Cayenne is an amazingly sweet Tortimese girl. She is such a lovebug, and playing is her favorite thing! She has lots of energy and will thrive in the right environment. She needs scratch posts or will go for your furniture. She has had some bad interactions with aggressive cats, so please adopt only if you do not have other kitties. She is talkative, a little shy at first, but will quickly become your baby. Her favorite toys are feather wands, her favorite food is wet, but she'll eat most kibbles. She gained weight as we tried to have her live with family for a while, but she should be having 1/4th cup of kibble twice a day to get back to a healthy weight. She does not like tuna flavored treats, loves tubes of all kind, and knows how to sit for a treat! She'll have a trip to the groomers prior to adoption!
