Siamese kittens & cats in Brevard, North Carolina

Xanthia is a big (over 12 lbs), loving, beautiful, Tortie Point Siamese mix girl who loves her people.  She lived with two young children and did very well with the,  She would do best in a quiet home with no other pets or with one other calm kitty that leaves her alone.  She was picked on by the cats in her most recent home of 8 months.  They tried everything to make it a successful match but it just wasn't working out, and she was stressed from the possibility of being attacked.  She is a bit out of sorts right now as change is hard and scary, but she loves being pet and once she is settled, is happy to be held, picked up, etc.  She stomach has not reacted well to foods like Friskies or Meow Mix dry that have red dyed food.  She has done well on 4health Untamed, various flavors (Tractor Supply).     All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. Meet Xanthia by applying to adopt to schedule a meet and greet or visit her during our weekly adoption event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. from 12-4pm Saturday. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Special Needs Bonded Siblings Sweet, loving brother and sister must stay together   Please read full history-  both have a history of a positive as well as negative PCR FeLV test.  They are now 4 years old.  No symptoms of any illness,  DVM says they are sero-converting.  They are due for next yearly visit in October, will repeat PCR tests at that time.   ##2155770##

We found Casper when he was only around 4 weeks old. He was found in the woods alone. We have had him since then and he is a sweet cat. The main reason why we are getting rid of him is because we have been having trouble getting him to use his litter box. We are hoping a cat lover has some strategies that will help him to break this habit.

DOB - 8/1/2019 This sweet lady has had a rough time in her short life. She had one litter of kittens outside, and a second litter after she was taken into foster care. She was a great mom to both litters, but didn't really blossom as a loving pet until they were all weaned and she could be her own cat. Unfortunately, her time outside scavanging for food took it's tole on her teeth, and she had to have dental work to remove all of her remaining teeth. The good news is, she'll never need dental work again, and she eats just fine without teeth. Nala is so happy to be indoors and safe, but she is very ready for her forever home where she can bond with her permanant family.
