She was born to a cat I used to have about 4 years ago. I can’t keep her inside because of my allergies so I would like to find a good home for her. She is very sweet and gentle once she learns to trust you. She is very laid back and likes human attention. She prefers a quiet laid back environment.

I’m Herringbone—a lap cat on my own terms, thank you very much. I’ll approach when I’m ready, accept your pets with grace, and then retreat like the mysterious queen I am. Being picked up? Hard pass. I prefer affection with a side of autonomy. I enjoy watching the other cats play like a mom at the pool—observing the chaos from a safe, dry distance. My favorite pastime? I want pets, I just prefer a slow-motion approach. Best method? Pet another cat first so I can see the coast is clear, then sneak in for a drive-by scritch before vanishing like a snack dropped behind the fridge. I’m playful, curious, and a master of the silent stare. You’ll catch me watching from the sidelines like a tiny feline lifeguard—judging the splash zone but never diving in.
