Hi, I’m Fish Sauce—zesty by name, elusive by nature. I’m a solo explorer, a blanket ninja, and a certified leg warmer (as long as you pretend I’m not there). I’m skittish, sure—but not standoffish. I want pets, I just prefer a slow-motion approach. Best method? Pet another cat first so I can see the coast is clear, then sneak in for a drive-by scritch before vanishing like a snack dropped behind the fridge. I’m playful, curious, and a master of the silent stare. You’ll catch me watching from the sidelines like a tiny feline lifeguard—judging the splash zone but never diving in. I love attacking moving feet under covers, climbing into laps mid-nap, and investigating every new sound like a tiny, nervous detective. Loud noises? No thanks. Dogs? Hard pass. Other cats? Only my foster sister Herringbone gets VIP access for now. I may be shy, but I’m not antisocial—I’m just a cautious connoisseur of comfort. We found Casper when he was only around 4 weeks old. He was found in the woods alone. We have had him since then and he is a sweet cat. The main reason why we are getting rid of him is because we have been having trouble getting him to use his litter box.
