He previously lived both indoors and outdoors, and he recently had a dental procedure to help keep him feeling his best. Now he's ready to enjoy his golden years in a loving home filled with comfort and companionship. Monroe is FIV-positive, which simply means his immune system needs a little extra support, but he’s not on any medication. The good news is that cats with FIV often live long, happy, healthy lives just like any other cat. FIV is only spread between cats through deep bite wounds, so it isn't a risk to people or other pets like dogs. Senior cats like Monroe are often a wonderful choice because their personalities are already well established, they're typically calmer than kittens, and they're content spending quality time with their favorite people.
