Let us introduce you to another group of cats that started out with a female and ended up with 25 cats on the property. We took in 19 and the ones left, to be inside now, have all been spayed & neutered thanks to The Joy Clinic and Smith County Humane. This group of 5 were named in a "western movie" theme. They are a bit reserved as they had to share their human interaction, however warm up quickly and crave attention. They are all litter box trained, spayed/neutered, are microchipped, have age-appropriate vaccines, and are on flea prevention. If you are looking to add a member to your family, one of these fabulous felines just might be the purrfect fit. Adoption fee is $50 each. **Adoption Center Policy: All cats must be INDOOR ONLY and shall NOT be declawed.**

Oscar is around 8 years old, we have had him since he was 12 weeks old. We got him from a Siamese rescue, that had an event in a Petsmart store in North Carolina. He is not in anyway aggressive, he has never bitten/attacked anyone, not even a scratch to my knowledge. He is however an extremely nervous and skittish cat. We have a large family where there is always something going on. We’ve moved twice since getting him and around 2 years ago, we moved to a new house and my elderly mom moved in to live with us. He has really become her cat and stays mostly in her room and away from everyone else, except when it’s time for his food. But he has started to pee outside of his litter box periodically now, something he randomly seems to do when there are periods of change in the home. We really feel that he just needs a new home that is much more calm and quieter than ours, with less people. Ideally an older person/couple on their own, or perhaps somebody with no young kids in the house.

Margie is a gorgeous lynx point Siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes. She is about one year old and recently came to Healing Hearts from Cheatham County Animal Control. Poor Margie was rescued with teats swollen to the size of softballs and a belly full of dead babies. :( Thankfully Cheatham County quickly got her in for an emergency spay and gave her plenty of antibiotics. Margie is feeling better now but her swelling on her belly is still going down. We are giving her a "spa treatment" with a heating pad twice a day to help her tummy heal faster. Margie has also tested negative for FIV and leukemia, been vaccinated, dewormed and on flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $150. She is good with other cats and gentle older children.
