Story
I will do best in a house with someone that has senior Siamese experience, i.e a calm and quiet retired couple home. I am not a cuddley cat. I "own" your house and have my special spots throughout the house I hang out at. I much prefer a spot in my foster parent's office while he works. I can co exist with other cats, but they have to do their own thing and not bother me and stay in their part of the house ha ha. My adopter will have to give me time to acclimate to my new home and routine as I take the time it takes of my choosing. (typical Siamese personality) No apartments, dogs or children! Siamese experience is required.

Story
Introducing Olive, an adorable Lynx-point Siamese mix with a heart as big as her playful spirit. Despite losing one of her eyes due to illness as a kitten, Olive is proof that nothing can hold her back from living life to the fullest. She's a whirlwind of energy, delighting in climbing cat trees, chasing string toys, and zooming around for a game of tag.But don't let her adventurous side fool you—Olive is also a total cuddle bug at heart. She adores being carried around like a baby and snuggling up close for some quality lap time. If you're a reader, Olive would love nothing more than curling up with you while you read! When it comes to companionship, Olive is a social butterfly who gets along well with other cats, kittens, and even kids! Her sweet and playful nature makes her the perfect addition to any family. One thing to note about Olive is her battle with chronic stomatitis, which required the removal of many of her teeth. Despite this, she's thriving and maintaining her health with steroid injections only when needed. And even without her pearly whites, Olive has no trouble enjoying her favorite dry kibble with gusto!Born in April 2021, Olive is ready to find her forever home where she can continue spreading joy and laughter to all who meet her.If you're interested in welcoming Olive into your family, don't hesitate to inquire about her at www.tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions. She can't wait to meet her new best friend! Story
Apply online: tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions, Peace Lilly, female, 2 years old, Lynx point Siamese mix, rescued from living in a backyard colony, she has been blind since birth, being fostered indoors, using litter box, her favorite spot is taking an afternoon nap on a kitchen chair, able to maneuver around the house, sweet, loves petting, has the softnest fur, see the video where she is playing with a fish pole toy!Lily came to us through a feral trapping job. Thankfully, she simply walked into the trap. The trapper noticed she was emaciated and had something wrong with her eyes.At the spay appointment, when the Dr. examined her eyes she realized Lily has no eyeballs. Apparently she had been eating bugs and found food to stay alive for at least over a year.As Lily’s foster, I put her in a small cage in the kitchen, the most trafficked area in the house, and made sure the litter box food and water stayed in the exact same spot. I held her a lot and spoke her name over and over. When I wasn’t holding her, I could see how she “watched” every move with her ears. The other cats did a lot of staring. They knew she was different, but couldn’t figure it out.Eventually, the cage door was opened to allow Lily to roam at will, confident her safety cage was always at the same spot for her safe return. Lots of hiding in those days, but I knew she was exploring as I could hear what she was bumping into. She is navigating near perfectly. The safety cage has been been closed for some time. Lily knows her name, where to go to eat and where the other cats food is for when she is done with hers. She doesn’t believe in leftovers.Lily stalks and pounces the house cats. They have learned to look around every corner. When the house cats “have had enough” and start to slap her, Lily starts a wrestling match. There is a lot of yelling, cats run from her with Lily in pursuit. … House cats have moved to the foot of my bed, and Lily sleeps spooned at my belly.Company is not welcome as for as Lily is concerned. She would probably do best in a quiet household with one or two calm, quiet people, on a schedule doing the same thing at the same time everyday. Putting things in the same place at all times….. Never ever moving furniture.Friendly to every cat she has met, Lily would probably also enjoy a laid back dog to taunt.
