Sloan is nothing short of precious. He is shy when you first meet him, but very gentle and easy to handle. He takes time to trust, but once in your arms, adores being petted. Once he learns his person is safe, he eats up the attentions and will let you know with his sweet purring. He loves to be petting and brushed. This gorgeous boy needs a patient adopter who will allow Sloan time to decompress, explore and grow into his own. He does well on his own and wonderfully with other sweet/gentle cats and would likely best thrive in a home that is a more quiet household. He has never been around dogs. Sloan has his vetting done! He has been neutered, had his vaccinations, litter tested for FIV/FELV, preventative flea & dewormer, and he is microchipped. So, what are you waiting for? Every Saturday & Sunday Frisco Humane Society has Adopt-A-Pet events at PetSmart at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, TX. FHS has different adoptable cats there all weekend & adoption counselors on site to help, from Noon - 4 p.m. Interested in one of our cats/dogs? First step it to fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.
