Story
Derick Delight can get by on his good looks alone. His Siamese blue eyes melt your heart as soon as he looks at you. You'd do anything for him. However, Derick could never be a brat, his mother taught him to be a perfect gentleman. Good thing! Derick is a big boy with perfect manners. He gets along with people and lives with other cats, so his size is just a source of extra in an armful of snuggles! Just look into those eyes and say 'Yes!' to Derick Delight. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $40 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*

Story
My name is Casanova. My story is still unfolding and I am hopeful to find my human soul mate who has the patience, understanding, time, and desire to make me realize my full potential. I currently live with my foster parents who brought me home after a 2mo stay at the shelter. I had my own room, but the shelter decided that I did not get along with other cats. So, my foster mom brought me home and decided to help me find a forever home where I am the only companion. But, it turns out, I am a quick learner! Over only a couple of weeks at my new home, I remembered how to play, cuddle, ask for food, and show love. I come when called and really enjoy being picked up, brushed, and receive affection. Sometimes I may bite slightly, only to let you know that I am not yet fully comfortable with what you are doing. But... I am coming around. I am still not sure about being in a home with other pets. I am not territorial or aggressive. Mostly, I am just afraid and need more time to learn.
