Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Introducing Reef, a handsome lynx-point Siamese shorthaired mix born about 8/5/26. He came in as part of a feral colony on which we are doing Trap-Neuter-Return - but both his coloring and his purrrrsonality elevated him from the "return" portion of that operation to the "transferred to ADOPTION" category! He is a tiny bit shy, given his early weeks spent among the rest of the ferals, but he is handleable and playful and will blossom into a fantastic family member when given a chance in his new family. He's young enough to adapt to polite dogs and other cats, and should do fine with gentle children. Video Coming Soon We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Reef is a suggested minimum of $85 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE AURORA! Aurora is another survivor from a big mess up in Metaline Falls involving dozens of cats. She's very happy to be out of that bad situation and is patiently waiting for her forever family to come and take her home! We think Aurora is under a year old. She's been spayed, vaccinated, wormed and is a good girl with her litter box. It's unfortunate that we had to clip her ear when she was spayed, but we had to know who had been altered and who hadn't. With so many nice kitties out there, we just couldn't take them all in at once. We hardly notice it anymore and we doubt you will either; her winning personality more than makes up for that minor imperfection and adds to her character. Aurora gets along great with other cats, and we think will be fine with cat friendly canines too, once she gets to know them. With people she's just the friendliest girl in the world and is doing her best to make up for all the attention she missed out on during her previous life. True to her Siamese genes, she talks, especially when she's trying to let you know she's glad you're there and is hoping you'd like to come pet her. As happy as she can be to finally be safe and cared for, she'll bring lots of love and smiles to the lucky family who welcomes her home. To meet this wonderful girl, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. Our charming Aurora will be your, all yours, for her $80 adoption fee.

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ALBERT AND ANGEL! Here's two more sweethearts from a big mess up in Metaline Falls. Their brother, Arthur, has been adopted, but Angel and Albert are still waiting for their forever families. Don't make them wait too long! Albert, the handsome buff and white boy, and his gorgeous flame point sister Angel , are almost 6 months old. They've been spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated and have perfect litter box manners. They get along great with other cats, and we think will be fine with cat friendly canines too, once they get to know them. Angel is a bit shy with new people, but boy, what a snuggle bug once you get her seal of approval! She loves being held goes all rag doll limp as she Zens out on the attention. Albert is very friendly, outgoing and always up for any new adventures. He loves being petted but doesn't have much time for sitting around in laps when there's so much fun new stuff to explore. What an interesting new world this is! Best of buddies, they'd be very happy to be adopted together so they always have their sibling to play and snuggle with, after going through so much together. If they had to be separated, they would appreciate a kitty friend or two in their new home. Nothing worse than a bored kitty, it's not like they can read War and Peace while you're off doing all your weird human things. To adopt this lovable, photogenic pair, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. The $160 adoption fee for the pair will give you an endless supply of smiles and snuggles for many years to come. Albert and Angel can't wait to meet you!

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE AMADEUS! Another refugee from the nightmare in Metaline Falls involving dozens of cats. With the worst behind him, this stunning fellow can't wait to start his new life with you! We think Amadeus is about a year old. He's been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and has perfect litter box manners. He gets along well with other cats, and we think he'll be fine with cat friendly canines too, given a safe, slow introduction. With people he's the sweetest of boys and loves being petted and hanging out with his special humans. He's never had a real home, having been born outside, but we know he'll be thrilled to finally be safe and have all the attention his forever family can give him. To meet this wonderful fellow, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. For his $80 adoption fee you'll soon be making beautiful music together!
