Here's what you need to know about me:Adopt me on the 4th of December and my fee is waived! It's the Craig Stein Yappy Hour and we're honoring our friend Craig by waiving adoption fees for all pets. And every pet adopted during the promotion will also receive a branded bandana and a starter kit with food, treats, and toys!I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But once I get to know you, I'm very loving.I have some handling sensitivity. I don't especially like to be held and have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!If there are kids in my new home, I need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more. Primary Color: Torti Point Weight: 4.1 Age: 0yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
This poor girl was left behind on a property that had foreclosed. The homeless people that were previously living there were trying to keep up with feeding her. Then the property owner threatened to have them arrested if they kept coming on the property and feeding her. They grabbed her and tried a few other shelters that turned them away and finally made it to PFOA in late evening and pouring down rain. She was so thin and basically going to starve to deth if left on the property. Pepper was in desperate need of being rescued. She is a survivor! We are still working with her to see her true personality. She hs been nothing but sweet and loves her food since we've had her. It will be interesting to see her blossom with the comfort of food, a warm place, and love.

Neptune is looking for a job! Working cats are wary of people, but they make excellent pest-control partners for barns, wineries, workshops, warehouses, and even private homes! Our Working Cat Program places cats who prefer minimal human interaction into safe, supportive environments where they can thrive while helping control rodents.Adopters must provide:• A secure structure that offers protection from the elements and predators• Access to natural light• Fresh food and water every day• A soft, dry, warm place for the cat to sleepThese cats may not want cuddles, but they do want a safe home—and they’ll repay you by keeping unwanted pests in check.HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal`s location. From Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free Roaming Room (in shelter):To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed.
