Story
Hi, my name is Salem. I have to tell you, life has been quite the rollercoaster. I am really looking to settle into a quiet home and life with my own people! I have had a lot of bumps in my roughly 4 years on earth. I was born in Texas and was adopted to someone that had life changes and she rehomed me, then, poof! I was homeless and found on the street. I was adopted to a nice family but there were some other 4 legged family members that were not very accepting. Not wanting me to go back to that shelter, I was given to a family member and they have been trying their best to make it work for me, but again, more 4 legged family members. So, here we are! My currently family want me to be an only cat, in a quiet home with my own people. As you can probably understand, young kids are not good for me. I really need patience and time to help me decompress. Older kids would be able to read my cat signs. I am a typical Siamese, very vocal and we can carry on a conversation if you speak cat. If you go out to work or run errands, I will tell you about my day when you come home. I have been known to try to have conversations with people outside (of course, they can't hear me thru the closed windows) I do love to have my head scratched and once comfortable, love having a full body massage. I have lived an indoor only life and that is best for me. I am microchipped, up to date on vaccines and very good with the litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.December 28, 2025, 9:24 pm

Story
Uggies is 7 months old and is looking for a loving home with her sister Suki. She loves to inspect what her humans are doing, sit in windows, watch cat tv, and play with string toys. She needs a home with safe outdoor access, ideally a farm or large piece of land. She also will need to be fed a grain free wet food diet. She isn't a vocal cat and instead of meowing she chirps. She shows affection by climbing up on shoulders and rubbing her head on her human’s faces. She is very friendly and greets strangers by trying to climb them. She does well with other cats and has an easy going temperament.

Story
Suki is a 1 year and 4 month old chocolate point Siamese. I'm looking to find her an enriching, peaceful, mindful, and very loving home. She is very sweet and curious. She likes to be near her humans during the day and sleep with them on the bed at night. I'm looking for an adopter with a decent sized house for her to run around in, and with a safe, cat proofed fenced yard, and who can guarantee that she won't get overweight at any point in her life. She is harness trained and would love full access to a safe outdoor space. She loves hunting bugs and flies in the grass and going on walks exploring the area around my apartment complex. She also requires a grain free wet food diet. She's not very food motivated. She often doesn't eat her breakfast until after she's played, and she often leaves some food in her bowl. Her health is very important to me and I would like to find an adopter who can assure she won't get overweight if she changes her eating habits later in life.

Story
Salem was found by my sister in the streets of San Antonio, TX. Due to a rental situation, my sister was unable to keep her. We picked her up from TX and drove her to our home in Colorado in May. My spouse and I received job offers in the PDX are so she moved with us here in August. We have 2 cats (11 and 8 yrs old) and she does not know how to interact with them . She has cornered by 11 yr old cat multiple times, leading to 11 yr old cat peeing herself. She may have been raised around dogs because she has a lot of dog mannerisms. She will meow at people at the front window like a dog would. Overall, though, she has a very loving personality. She loves humans and affection. I have slowly accustomed her to receiving hugs and she loves it now. She likes going outside on a lead. She has had a lot of change this year so we are looking for a permanent home so she can relax and know she is safe and loved. We wish it could have been our home.

Story
Wispy Cloud is a gentle, calm soul with the elegance only a Siamese can carry. At 3 years old, she's perfected the art of lounging and loves nothing more than curling up in a sunny spot or stretching out for a cozy nap nearby. She’s a certified head-scratch enthusiast and will happily lean in for affection when you're near. She currently lives peacefully with other cats and would do wonderfully in a home with feline companions—or as a solo queen, if that’s her destiny. With her easygoing nature and loving heart, Wispy Cloud is the kind of kitty who brings quiet joy to every room she graces. Wispy is FIV+, which simply means her immune system is a little lower than the average kitty’s. She doesn’t require any extra care beyond routine vet checkups—just a loving home where she can live her best life. If you're looking for a soft, serene companion to keep you company during lazy afternoons and peaceful evenings, Wispy Cloud might just be your perfect match. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
