Meet Birch! Birch is a young, 8mo old siamese cat with a lot of spunk and energy to go around! He keeps staff and guests entertained with his goofy antics, and loves to play with his friend Bellamy! Birch and Bellamy came to us from a concerned citizen who was caring for a colony of 10+ stray cats. All had severe upper respiratory infections, and although they’ve been treated and checked for polyps, we believe their nasal passage may have been damaged from the severity of the upper respiratory infection and/or they may have FVR. This means that although they no longer have a URI, they may still sneeze and show symptoms. This does not necessarily mean they are contagious. In a home setting these symptoms can decrease considerably due to the lower stress environment. Because they are both chronic, we think they’d be a good fit with one another and they would love to find a home together! Bellamy’s adoption fee has been waived. Birch’s adoption fee is $25 with a neuter deposit of $50. To meet Birch in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours.
