Simsim (“Simmy”) Simmy is a handsome 18-month-old Siberian with a playful spirit and a soft, affectionate side that shines once he gets to know you. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but a bit of patience goes a long way. Once Simmy feels safe, he’ll reward you with sweet head bumps and cozy neck cuddles. When he’s not playing or asking for affection, Simmy enjoys relaxing in the coolest spot he can find, often stretched out across the hardwood floor like a very fluffy, very adorable area rug. With his gentle nature and loving heart, Simmy will thrive in a home that gives him a little time to settle in and show just how special he is. Story
We have had Whisper for 4 years now. Abandoned by her mother as a kitten, my brother found her and asked if I was interested in taking her. Especially since he took two of the other strays. Whisper has grown into a mature cat with specific quirks (well this being my first cat I don't know if this is a quirk or not). Each morning Whisper meets me at my bedroom door. Waiting for me to open the door so she can go into the shower area and lick up the water. She then proceeds to lay on my bed where she stays most of the day. When I get home, promptly at 7 pm she will move me to her food, giving me the hint to feed her. She is very affectionate but quick to know when we (my sons (ages 17 and 19)) have had enough. Because of our busy schedules and the fact that she does need more attention we are seeking to rehome her. She is an awesome cat. She likes smelling things and is afraid of the vacuum. I have to admit she will make someone a good pet.
